@copperbeech1 If you mean that I did not create this video then you are correct. I snipped it from a DVR recording of live tv and put it up on YouTube because no uploads of the same commercial (in english) existed.
I wrote this commercial and we shot it in Iceland with Hollywood director Jan de Bont (Speed; Twister; Tomb Raider). It increased tire sales for Goodyear by 175% over their goal and helped save the company.
Did you really? Nice work! My friends and I used to blast this commercial at max. volume when I was in college. We thought Patrick Stewart was priceless. Phenomenal. The whole thing.
Thanks Bill. It was a treat working with P.S. He asked me: "Bob, how shall I read this commercial? With my original Yorkshire accent? An American accent? Or my 'Captain Picard'?" And I thought: "Oh, Goodyear is paying you $225K to throw your voice?"!!! So I said: "Patrick, let's do the voice the world knows and loves you by -- Capt. Picard."
I put these on my G35 and these tires are no joke. I can actually go around 70 MPH in a solid downpour and not worry about hydroplaning. I usually dont go that fast , but I have and didnt feel any slip. Best tires I have ever had hands down!
I heard these tires are as noisy as winter tires.

Got them on my car recently. It's like night and day. If Goodyear keeps making them, I'll be getting another set when I need them in a few years.
