Yea they definitely aren't intense as they used to be but I feel like now there less focused on raw energy and more on musicianship, from the standpoint of guitar AHIG is a ridiculously difficult album to play where as old songs like surfacing are just this simple piece of brutality

Coreys did on this tour, but i saw em on th AHIG tour and his voice was back, he almost killed it on the iowa tour, also on AHIG there is some sick ass double kick, the drums just arent as heavy in the mix so you have to listen to it, it helps to be a drummer/no a drummer and try to play/ watch someone play it
