no actually it depends on how well u play the fantaisie impromptu because some people play the fantaisie impromptu with little technique but it still sounds right to them. this piece is different because it must be played with proper technique for the "wrong notes" to sound right. anyway you should try it because the FI requires completely different technique. I dont want to discourage u regardless. good luck
Yes, every pianist is a genious. For Piano is the "mother and father" of every other musical instrument. For playing the piano requires brain, concentration, multiple focus skills and many other things you will only understand when you FEEL it under your skin, in your heart and SOUL.
Better than attempting to play Minuetos and so many EASY sheets, she is actually performing perfectly WITHOUT sheets, things you would take a lifetime to succeed practicing.
Actually the harpsichord, which predates the piano by about 200 years, is the mother and father of every other 'keyed' musical instrument. it is far more difficult to master than the piano. The pianoforte's of Chopin's time sounded much different than the standardized pianos of today. I would consider the piano of today to be the bastard cousin of the harpsichord.
Still, it takes an incredible amount of dedication to play like Son does, and kudos to any who can master Chopin's insane pieces
i'd say she does justice to the gorgeous melody of the middle section, actually

Yeol Eum Son is an extraordinary talent. Taken as a whole, she plays all of these Chopin Etudes with utter brilliance.

Yeol Eum Son, so many congrats.
When I see you there, I see passion, and that makes me thrill over the ideia I might play half as much as you do now.
Proud of the world, and society when I see such a piece! =)
