You should try doing a song where you play the vocal part but I really love how this sounds it's amazing.

@roycrillo thanks! man, i absolutely never use notes.... so, i´m sorry but there is no sheet music. It´s all blues-based jam and developed that way with hard work training the ear, most important thing. i may put up a tutorial video, how-to, at some point.

I was trying to learn how to play this song on guitar when i came across this. This is amazing and has inspired me in many ways. @passionhorses14 nice to hear! Usually i get the best melody/rhytm ideas when i am not playing cello... then i record it in voice recorded and later transform to cello. Listen to ALL kinds of music. Try different things (versatility):Play melody, rhytm,harmonic notes, any from reggae to metal. BUT: serve the song. Listen to the guitarists.On this clip i play Frusciante´s parts plus the soloes, and some parts of the riffs are my own. Rec your playing everyday, always listen.

@kennelcenturyfox thanks.. 19 years. I´ve studied here in Finland as a professional classical cellist, but this funk/pop thing i created myself. I always loved grooves the most and i missed that in classical a bit. Definetily more Peppers coming later. Love the band as well..

I was trying to learn how to play this song on guitar when i came across this. This is amazing and has inspired me in many ways. I have a school performance and we are doing this song and now i think i need a cello in it. I think im going to get a kid from band to do it but i have to say this is BEAUTIFUL. You did an amazing job and i think i might start looking into picking up the cello :D

@kroela Sorry for the delay, i didnt notice your message until right now. Unfortunately i dont have sheets or notes, but playing this kind of stuff requires learning shuffle/blues rhytms for right, also for left. Playing by ear. I´m working on "how-to-play" video.

@passionhorses14 nice to hear! Usually i get the best melody/rhytm ideas when i am not playing cello... then i record it in voice recorded and later transform to cello. Listen to ALL kinds of music. Try different things (versatility):Play melody, rhytm,harmonic notes, any from reggae to metal. BUT: serve the song. Listen to the guitarists.On this clip i play Frusciante´s parts plus the soloes, and some parts of the riffs are my own. Rec your playing everyday, always listen.
