  • Over here in Nevada, we call them Pull Flips, and we start a third from the top with our left hand, and on the tab with the right.

  • we have always callled them pull hits but our new instructor came and he calls them cracker jacks because thats what they are called in virginia apparently. sorry bout the spelling

  • Sweet.

You should also teach how to do these at a 45 and flat. We do an exercise that incorporates all 3, and it's very helpful.

    Also: We call them crackerjacks.

    :]

  • We call thoses flip-its;)

  • we call them flips und we hav to do them flat, vertical, und angles

  • are you gayy

  • Awesome tutorial! My color guard calls them framies. idk why but we do. haha.

  • At Crossmen we renamed all our warmups last year. We call this one Crunch and Munch lol.

  • we call those flicks but instead of going straight up and down we do it at angles

  • We called them flips. lol

And, our coach made us do them both ways. o.O

  • We call those pop tosses or skips

  • Theyre not technically pop tosses as it only stays at center, meaning at your waist, and is only a single. If you do this same technique but a double and tab reaches about eye level maybe a little under then its a "pop toss" but w/e alll guards are different

  • i love pole hit tosses there oine of my favs but i like the toss turn around to.

  • that was ok. just a little sloppy but you were in a hurry so it's alright. can you do your angles with the pull hits? our coach makes us practice those with two left angles, straights, right angles, flats, then right angles and back to the left before every practice. you're doin good and i'd just like to congradulate you for being one of the hard to find awesome guys secure enough in their masculinity to do colorguard. our school's guys are incredibly shallow minded so we're an all girl guard.

  • I ordered mine from Peacock Marching World. It's online, just google it.

There are plenty of places you can order from.

You can also go ask your band/colorguard instructor for information.

  • that was good:)but we call these pull hits.

  • okay, so when you were teaching, you were double catching. it actually got pretty bad at times. yea..that's not exactly suppose to happen. and, maybe you should watch the videos before you put them on youtube. then the "student" wouldn't have to critique the "teacher"

  • we call those pole pops.

    haha.

  • Awesome :D

  • we call those pop tosses. we also go 45 flat and up.

  • yay u dont suck!

  • these are really awesome. They feel really good if you nail them. you can turn it into a toss if you push up with your right hand.

  • Woah we have the same flag, or at least it appears we do.

  • "some people call them pole hits, or pole hits, it doesn't really matter its the same thing"

heheheheh, put on the money hand toss! and tell them to push down by saying " its like punching your little brother"

    =)

  • I said pull hits or pole hits LOL

  • @colorguardwithbuddy, why dont you teach some simpler tosses for newbies like quarters and parallels???
