i think cuz it's the, "look at me i'm a delicate flower. please be manly and protect me," *flutters eyelashes* girly thing. lots of guys dig a girl more if they think they're her protector. silly and sad but true.
Well, Scott obviously likes her because she's "not a skank", and she and Auggie actually have chemistry (for some reason...)and that's pretty much it.
I love how Scott doesn't even give Shelby the time of day over his girlfriend! Oh, if only all guys were like this
