  • Finally a video that demonstrates a wide variety of sounds. This is the first time I actually thought I could make contemporary sounding music with one of these. Almost all other videos just have some boring shredding with uncool grandad sounds (and a grandad), even the official demos on the moog site do. Why Moog? I know its an analog synth and so It can do whatever you want it to, but why don't you show off its capabilities like this chap has?

  • Did you do anything special to get it to send arpeggio/sequencing/modseq data to the 'fatty? Just picked up an MS2000 mostly for the sake of it's sequencer, haven't had any luck getting it to speak to a computer or a Kurzweil, and my little Nova module is loaned out - only seems to send notes when pressing keys in keyboard mode.

(Midi channels checked, manuals read, settings reset, etc)

  • @Mamiya645 hi, the ms2000 has a modseq, so unfortunately it can't send pitch information or anything else to the midi-out but just to the internal sound engine,

the arp sends notes to midi out including the gate (note lenght) setting and the swing - just turn it on (maybe you have activate it somewhere in the global mode, but i don't think so).

  • that's exactly what i would use a little phatty for, midi in a sequence and tweak the shit out of it..... not for doing "on the run" sequence :)

thanks for vid. thinking of buying LP or voyager rack, but the rack costs twice as much :(

  • too true froo.......keep it rocken BB sounds wiiickkkkkkeeeeeddddd

  • is that older Little Phatty Stage Edition or the latest Little Phatty Stage II??

  • it's a stage edition 1. as far as i know the only differences between 1 & 2 are a different coloured back and the usb-port.

the new os of the stage 2 can be installed on the stage 1 too, so you have some new features like the arpeggiator and midi-sync for the lfo.

  • thank you :) you're awesome.

and don't listen to haters, they're just ignorants who can never find peace in what they do.

  • @BernadetteBruch

    Nice True Sound.

  • uhm, you're really mean... i think i have to cry now for an hour or two.

next time i will do the "on the run"-sequence like everyone else okay?

  • laugh my butt off.. why people are so unhappy most of the time.. rite.. :) I have an lp too but don't have the time to post a vid but love to see everything even if it's so called "boring" to me it's simply extraordinary meaning out of the ordinary.. lol gr8 vid bud. keep up with them..

  • hey, brilliant playing! (should record some!)

  • very interesting sound you got there. makes me want to tweak those cute lil knobs.
