How horrible indeed but is there hope for Tibet???. The dalai lama is not very aggresive about claiming back tibet, I dont blame him, he cant do much anyway. You would need a country like US to bombard China and free tibet and that is the only way you can make the Chinese govt mend their evil ways. Chinese are not only cruel to Tibetans but have suppressed their own people and other minorities also. It so suprising that no nation is keen on facing the Chinese.

That is called a Sky Burial. Some culture burn the body, Some culture bury the body. We Tibetans believe in Karma and that our body is a vessal. Because of our belief in Buddhism and that we must accumulate as much good deed as possible. At the end of our life, instead of wasting our precious body, we want to use it in a good way, in this case feeding to hungry vulture. Like them we are also in this cycle called samsara.

I think all this happens anywhere where there are riots. That's why riots should be prevented from happening in the first place to maitain peace. In this video I see criminals are on the streets of Lhasa causing damage to other ppl's property. The local police force are just doing there job to stop uncivlized riots instigated by politcal activist. If these trouble makers were in Hong Kong, I bet you the local police would contain them by elevating the use physical force little by little.

It is true that there were Chinese who were hurt in this riot by Tibetans.
It is also true that Chinese Government has been murdering Tibetans since 1949.
More than 1.2 million Tibetans killed/died as a DIRECT result of Chinese invasion and continues occupation of Tibet.
There is a reason for why Tibetans have never stopped protesting against Chinese rule since 1949. And if you do not ask the important questions, then CCP has got you.

The Tibetan people have had their cultural identity and former rights slowly erased under the Chinese government. This shows why some people may be angry and resort to violence, but the true way of Buddhism is through non-violence, as evident by the monks and countless others, who don't get reported on because they are doing the right thing, and that isn't exciting to the news. More disturbing is the images of the police beating non-violent monks.
