just cut them off this tool is over 300 bucks and takes about 20-30 min per fender a grinder 10 at the pawn shop cutting wheels 5 dollars and 3-5 min a fender for the same results :)
Since my car uses wheel bolts opposed to a stud and lug setup I'm assuming it would be safe to use my wheel bolts along with the included conical washers ?
I heated them with the heat gun until they were fairly hot, but no so hot that they would burn my skin. I re-heated the edges while I was rolling the fenders in case they were cooling off to quickly.
the inner well will sometimes tuck up enough to clear when you roll the lip. If it doesn't you can tuck a thin aluminum or plastic sheet into the fender lip, and press it outwards, forcing the inner well up and out for better clearance. Drill through the aluminum sheet and attach it to the inner well with short sheetmetal screws to hold it in place.
Alternatively, I have know guys who simply cut out the inner well.
Hey I need to do my fenders real soon but I am kind of hesitant because I have heard mixed reviews about the results on some cars.Did you experience any kind of dimpling or mishaping of the fender in any areas? Any parts of the fender you were a little unsatisfied with?
No- All went very well with mine. This tool has so much power you could crank it up and flare your fenders with it. Maybe someone was trying to do that?
Ok so i rolled mines up my self, it didn't rolled all the way though....You know when you're rollin' it, it won't touch to the other end, i mean i could't get it to touch to the other side, because there's something' hard in the middle where the fender end and i don't know what is it
There may be some debis settled in the fender lip. If it's at the ends of the fender, it could just be the way the fender is formed (with a perpendicular bend to mount to the adjacent section). What type of car is it?
I'm familiar with the car, but not the construction of the fenders. If you are getting the same result on both sides I would suspect the fender has something there that is used to mount or stiffen it. If it is at the end hopefully it won't reach the tire. My fenders are rolled only about 1/4 way down the fronts because of the front fascia moun, but thats past where the tire hits.
oh my bad. didnt mean to call you out. but yea i am thinking about getting one of these... to rent anyways. damn eibach sportlines lol. but i do love them.
Lol... good point. I have three chocks, and the other two are on the other rear tire. My driveway is sloped slightly towards the front of the car, so that is the way it wants to shift. If I got my Chebbie outta my garage I would have a truly level surface to work on.
Good attention to detail. I should have put them on the driver's side for the vid.
where to get this tool at?

Yes- your bolts will work. The base is slotted with different patterns to fit about any car, as long as they are 4 or 5-lugs.

Those are stock SRT8 Brembo calipers, with Chrysler's slotted rotors. Great stuff for factory gear.
