There is nothing wrong with minding your own business or mantaining adult relationships. You should be friends with or talk to whoever you want. Like you said, a lot of that is high school and I've been out of high school for a few years.
As far as the diet goes, good for you losing the pounds. You have to reward yourself somehow, and there are few things better than Eddys and Wendys. But I am very fond of the Frosty Floats.
