That was pretty impressive, but the punter probably should have kicked it out of bounds, or at least attempted another onside kick. Who knows, the other team seems to be pretty terrible at onside kick defense, so they probably would have won the ball and the game. I feel bad for them to lose though. 4 scores in 3 minutes is quite impressive, but it kind of makes me ask: If they could play this well, why not bring it the entire game? Nice video though.

it depends on the kickoff team. if this was the nfl then definitly boot it cause ther's almost never td returns, but in HS if your not fully confident that your special teams can make a tackle then it's best just to squib it and take your chances on D where the fastest kid on the other team doesn't have so much space like he did on this return

Tyler is to be chided for subbing in too early and looking like phantoms when it came to tackling.

Plano is to be criticized for not kicking appropriately at the end.

That comeback was made through non-spread formations with plays like screen paases being broken for TDs. It should never have gotten to that point.

A game with smart coaches at the helm of it doesn't play out like that one did.

The smart play was to kick it, because the odds of a KO return were smaller than the other team scoring when you gave them a short field.
