How can you make playing something that hard look easier? Why would you want to? If it looked easy idiot non-musos would never appreciate what it takes to do this.
I bought it off ebay from a UK company called Rich Mr Sax. I think they're made in South Korea and go under various different badges. Dirt cheap (about £165 or $300US new), go it to see if I liked a six string and it's been my main bass for about a year now. Had a TRB1006 in black on order, but they've stopped making them, so was pondering a RBX-JM2.
Ordered it Dec 6th last year. Found out they changed the black to caramel this month. Looking at 3 JM2s; one private sale, one shop soiled, one new. Bit concerned about the string spacing for slap.

Wow. Whenabouts did you order the TRB? And how do you know they've stopped making them? Cos i just got one about a month ago...
If anything i would've thought the JM2 would've stopped going in production cos Myung no longer endorses Yamaha but he endorses Ernie Ball.
