  • I find it funny that humans are a part of nature, and yet when we have any kind of interaction with nature it just has to be a "bad" one. You people who think like that seem to have forgotten that we used to always be in contact with nature daily.

  • there not meant to be trained to like humans. this is creul!

  • @riaki1998

    Cruel? An no, it's not.

  • @riaki1998

    Cruel? An no, it's not.

  • Lol, he's like, ".. Bitch, please... I'll take your food, but do you really think I can't find myself water?:

    ^_^ Still, cool stuff man.

  • nice

  • Excellent video! That is a very healthy looking fox as well. Very nice to see.

  • nom nom nom apple ^_^

  • nice dude that fox loves apple lol :P

  • Wowhead. Foxes don't really hang in big packs like wolves. Many times they are loners And from what I'm seeing he is quite content and looks healthy, I am currently in college and in A Wildlife technician program. I see nothing wrong with this. Its like those deer you see around in small town, Hell, you can actually pet those! Anyhow I see now potential danger to the fox at all. Good to see you concerned though. Great video drew. Critters like these are what I go to school for!

  • Thank you! :)

  • You bet Drew. Also To correct my spelling I meant I see NO danger, not NOW danger. Guess I should re-read my stuff!

  • actually foxes travail in pairs often two or three at least but thy have been known to ban together to protect young wile moving from place to place. normally you might find 5 at most together but it is rare and thy normally don't hunt together thats why people think there loners which there not.

  • its cool and all that he came up to you man but dont feed him. nor should you get to close. right now that poor fox is probably in a depression cause his pack abandoned him... i mean its alright to observe but dont interfere Please. animals (Especially K9s of all sorts) can smell the aura of a human from a mile away. and sence the scent of a human is potient theres a good chance your scent lingered on him. unless he took a mud bath to get arid of it. which i doubt. Cool vid though.

  • I'm really impressed, how were you able to get so close up without scaring him?

  • Awe such a cute fox =D

  • it's apple!

  • Yes, victoria is right, it is cut up apples.

  • if you have an exotics licensee you can normally own both wolves and foxes but i do not recommend it

  • I can't wait for the ones they've bred to be domesticated in Russia to come to North America. ^_^

  • If you love red foxes, you must watch "Renard 2" on Youtube

  • Cool! ive never seen a fox up close but theyre my fave animal.

  • HEY MORON UR NOT SUPPOSE TO FEED THEM! They'll loose their fear of people.

  • It's his pet you bloody nut case!

  • Even then, i dont know what state he lives in but in most states its illegal to have wild animals as pets, so either hes breaking the law or hes putting some little child in danger who wants to feed a fox and it bites em, not smart!

  • I didn't mean literally; a friend of mine has a wolf that comes around his house and he "adopted it" if you will. It's his 'wild buddy' just as this fox is his.

  • that doesnt make it his "pet" humans just want to own and control all life and it pisses me off, if you want to become one with the forest animals and foxes alike you must go into the wild, not lure them into humanity (where they will be harmed/killed)

if you truly cared about them youd agree with me

  • well take a good look around the video. Does it look like that he's in town, or actually in the woods? so that takes care of the life threatening parts, mostly. And if you look at the description, you see that the fox is "hanging out" around here. Apparently, the cameraman aand fox are just friends, not pet and owner, see?

  • once again, we should try not to introduce foxes into our world, a house is a human creation, and he lives in a town of humans.

you should go out into the woods looking for him, or you should signal him when he comes to your house, so you could signal him in the wild and bring food THERE.

but i dont feel like arguing, as long as you love him i dont care

  • Cute!

  • freedom for foxes-electric chairs for hunters

  • true!

  • @VREDFOX woot!

  • What an absolutely beautiful Red Fox.

The Latin name for the Red Fox is "Vulpes vulpes".

The name for a male fox: Fox, dog-fox, stag, reynard, or renard.

The name for a female fox: Vixen, or she-fox.

The name for a baby fox: Kit, cub, or pup.

Did you know: its strong legs allow it to reach speeds up to 45mph.

  • like we really needed to know all that. Why couldnt you have just said aw so cute?! I mean seriously!

  • I can say whatever i want; maybe someone else will appreciate my informative comment.

  • i do. greatly. ^^

  • Thank you very much.

  • where did u get all that info?

  • Animal books.

  • that it is. the coat is free of mange and disiese, and the eyes and mouth seem to be quite healthy.hehe, did you know that the fox family has one of the fastest land-based animals in the world, the swift fox(vulpes velox, about30 cm high at the sholder, 80cm long frum nose to tail), can reach speeds hitting 60 miles an hour, despite its diminutive size?

  • Yes i did.

Did you know: Swift Foxes weigh 2 to 3 kg?

  • lol, lil bit of a typo there. 60 to 70 kmph, not miles ^^ still. the fact still stands though, in comparison to its size, this is amazing .-.

  • XD AAAWW Litlle snootymoot! :D

  • they love eggs try eggs lots of eggs -mine have eaten up to five a night. they will take the eggs before meat. they also love beneful dog food and dog biscuits.always look behind them there are usually more than one.;-)

  • Not in the wild. Foxes are very solitary. The only reason there would be more than one was if there was a mate or some babies near by.

  • this is so cool , how can you make the fox stay near you so long? besides food, i like it, i keep as my favour

  • That was amazing!

  • is this Fox yours? Or, didya just name it?

  • aww beautiful creature!

  • when will you decide to touch vicente?

  • nice video you must really live out in the boonies

  • Very nice.... thanks.

  • So cute ^^

  • i love foxes wish i had a pet one =(

  • Is that scruffy?

  • I think that's Vicente =\

  • yep.

  • ya its vicente.

    :P

  • By winning the animal's trust. Btw, Excellent video *Rates 5*. Btw, how is vicente doing now?

  • I havent seen vicente in a longggg time.

  • thats sick. how'd you get him to do that?

  • just built trust.

  • I wanna have a fox too :(((( i only have toads -.-

  • haha

  • Amazing video! You get more and more closer Vicente! Pretty fox!!!

  • thanks!

  • I just noticed Vicente accidentaly dropped the apple slice. =O Heh heh, cute vid!! =^^=

  • haha, thanks!

  • Thanks!

  • Extremely amazing video. Incredible fox too, he or she is beautiful!

  • Thanks!

  • You're welcome, it's not every day you run across a family of foxes.:D

  • Wise words, very wise ^^ Yes wild animals should stay wild because you never know what hunters or poachers will try to come along and kill it. Oh, the fox in the video is sooo cute though ^^

  • thanks!

  • Great video, and great to see that you have so many other wildlife videos filmed by yourself. Foxes are great, the close up video makes it look beautiful. Makes me glad to be moving back to London in 2 weeks time, where you'll often see foxes in gardens or walking up the road.

  • may be you should offred larger to go with the crisps, good vid

  • Wildlife is best viewed from a distance. Sure you didn't mean any harm, but the next person might not be so compassionate.

  • okay.

  • GOOD video ! GOOD Vincente!

  • thanks!

  • It is a cool video, but you shouldn't feed wildlife because it may be too trusting of people and the next person to come around may intend it harm.

  • I agree. It's not healthy for his mentality. Animals will always be wild, by instinct, and they are meant to stay that way.

  • yep.

  • yep.

  • very cool I love foxes soo cute

  • thanks!

  • That's one well fed healthy looking fox.

  • ya

  • so cute i love foxes!

  • :)

  • Foxes arnt that dangerous, they mostly scavage, and almost never attack something larger then them, unless provocted

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • Wow! Great close up footage there. Foxes are one of my favorite animals.

  • Hey, thanks! Foxes are very cool.

  • The noises those things make at night scares the shit out of me, it's sounds like babies crying. They sure are beautiful though.

  • Ya, very freaky.

  • cute...and dangerous!

  • so dangerous...

  • wow it sure must of taking you quite some time and patience to win that fox's trust. Pretty well done!

  • Thanks!

  • That fox is beautiful.

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • lmao the guy talkin is funny and it would of be funnier is the thing jumpped at the camera scarin the shit outta the guy lmao..im surpirse it didnt attack him tho

  • haha

  • Cute!

  • Thanks~!

  • Should you be feeding a fox an apple?

  • yes.

  • Yeah foxes actually have a wide range on food that they eat.

  • yeah

  • That fox is awesome. Kinda like the combination of a dog and a cat. There was a family in my town who opened their door one night and a fox ran in and jumped on their couch and just sat there watching television. Everytime they let it in it did the same thing, until one day it never came back anymore.

  • thats funny

  • LUCKY! I always like to see one upclose Foxes and cats are always my fave animals!(For a good reason) Thank you so much for showing a vid about one. It's very beautiful and I hope to be friends with u! ^^

  • ya

  • Thanks.

  • that fox is gonna become domesticated :D

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • Great to see a fox up close but it doesn't do her any favors. You are cool but chances are the next guy won't be. Better for the wild life to not trust us.

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • wow!!!! XD that was so kewl!!! And the fox was hella cute!!! XD ^-^

  • thanks for the comment!

  • Pretty incredible!

  • thanks!

  • Aww, I want the foxxie :-D.

  • lol cool but i got scaryer thing to come near me and not get hert lol but cool video anyways hey try to get a wolf next time that would be funny

  • What did you get to come close to you that was scarier than a fox?

  • I love foxes! It's so cool how it got so close to you and it wasn't so afraid. Where did you film this?

  • Thanks! It is in Colorado. Thanks for the comment.

  • That was awesome. I tried getting that close to a fox before. It didn't work out too well. Nice vid

  • Oh well, maybe next time. Thanks for the comment!

  • kewl video!!!!! but can you post a video where you dont feed him apples but meat or sumthing like that???? Wish Vicente was my pet

  • thanks for the comment.

  • haha, Thanks for the comment!

  • Definitely fake! I am good with special effects though huh?

  • that is so amazing!! I just wouldn't get too close..he might bite you..

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • VINCIENTE HAS A WEE WEE =]

  • haha, ya

  • How ironic is it that this fox is named Vicente?

By any chance, is he Mexican?

  • Haha, you picked up on the joke! Named after the mexican president, vicente fox, because he likes tortillas.

  • guess we should stop feeding dogs to huh lol

  • same thing i was thinking pll make all foxes out to be like the Nin Tail Fox of Japanes folk lore and legend

  • This is how those "When Animals Attack" videos start out.

  • :0

  • I don't get it, why did you feed that fox a live mouse?

  • I dont know.

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • Wouldn't feeding a fox be the same concept if it was a stray cat? People shouldn't be offended, he didn't harm the fox. yeyy! ;] OR DID YOU? jkjk I know you didn't.

  • Haha, thanks for the support.

  • Thanks for the support and Thanks for the comment!

  • HAHAHA! your so funny talking to the fox! it's like whispering to a baby! HAHA! ;]

  • I agree. By feeding this animal of the wild it may become used to approaching people. Although you may have the best intentions for the animal the next person it tries to eat apples from may not feel the same way.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • He's right. Not because the fox will become a danger to others, but because it will starve if it becomes accumulated to being fed by humans.

Any park ranger will tell you: don't feed the animals.

You probably didn't do any harm if this was a one time thing, but it's really a very irresponsible thing to do. If you like the fox, leave it alone.

  • acclimated, not accumulated...sleepy.

  • awesome!!! i would loveto feed a fox in thewild...have him come up that close i love it

  • Thanks! Yeah it's an amazing experience.

  • youre totally dumb. You could find a problem with anything anyone does. go read a science book or watch some sci fi.

  • its basically a dog.

  • Basically.

  • omg thats so cute! awww! ^^ he's a good foxxie lol

  • Very good foxie!

  • hmm i sure do looooove foxes

  • Sweet. Thanks for the comment!

  • FOX

  • ya

  • that is so tight.

  • Thanks!

  • Have you ever seen a fox so cute that you want to hug it so tight that its little eyeballs pop out? that fox was so cute.

  • Haha, thanks for the comment. Vicente thinks you are cute too!

  • kool fox, he looks nice, he likes u too, I can tell.

  • Sweet, thanks.

  • Lucky you...he shared his world with you for a bit.

  • thanks!

  • that doesnt matter its a fukin fox

people are retarded foxs' dont drag babies off

the biggest thing to worry about is it being friendly to the wrong human and getting shot
