  • @kiggiteee Yes, you can use a tube pan. If you don't have that, use two square pans or a rectangular pan, and adjust the cooking time, if needed. You won't have layers of caramelized bread pieces, but it will work.

  • Hi! The recipe looks very yummy. I would like to try it but here where I live I kan not find refrigerated biscuit dough. Do you have any idea what else I kan use to replace it? Maybe home made biscuit dough? If so kan I get a recipe to get same amount?

  • @thelaurels13 It's a lot, but probably not the worst you might find in sweet treat.  I always limit myself to just a couple of pieces--that's only half a biscuit. It's just spread with butter and brown sugar!

  • @umkoki Yes, you may use puff pastry or roll dough. Or, you can make biscuits from scratch. (I have a recipe for biscuits in bettyskitchen.).

  • @chrissymoda They are soft, refrigerated biscuits. You may make your own biscuit doug, roll it out, and cut it into circles, and proceed from there. I do have a recipe for making biscuits in bettyskitchen.

  • this may sound like a dumb question, but how do you serve this? Do you cut it into slices or do you pull pieces off of it? I've never had monkey bread before.

  • @stellaluna4u2 You use your hands to pull one of the biscuit pieces off. It comes off nicely with lots of caramel-walnut sauce. You can then place it on your plate, but most people just eat it after pulling off a piece!

  • I've made this before, but I've used frozen roll dough you find in the freezer section and I've just sprinkled pecans over it and it was so good, But I'm going to give this a try, cause it looks sooooo gooood!!!!

  • @ishtinka9 Hi Cassandra! You can bake this bread in a regular pan, but, depending on the size of the pan, you may have to adjust the cooking time, and possibly have just one layer of spiced biscuit pieces topped with one layer of caramel-walnut sauce. Just keep an eye on it while it's baking, and you will be able to tell when it is done.

  • @PaisleyGiraffe I think a regular pan would take less time. Just keep an eye on it while it's baking, and you'll know when it's done.
