  • Your Video Using Google Apps Is Very Useful Sharing

  • What's Salesforce?

  • Gmail does not sync with Salesforce. Poor form in my opinon!

  • looks like the way to go from where I'm standing, unless SalesForce or Google starts price gouging for apps.

  • very cool

  • I think Google has made some agreements with common craft. Because this video just resembles their style of video making. I could even hear the same voice of leelefever.

  • We still live in a 24/7 culture and can easily get trapped into working far too many hours than is good for us. However, technology adopted property, especially cloud commuting like Google Docs and Salesforce, can free up our time, enhance our mobility and increase our revenues - 3 essentials for anyone working in business today.

I've just bought an Apple Mac Book Pro after years of MS...now I've seen the light:)

  • what happen if salesforce servers explode or company closed?

  • they don't...

  • An economic recession, . . . wait a minute, ..

  • they don't

  • @BQHCPRIDE They have back up data store in millions of servers all over the world meaning that if the one in san fransisco explodes there is another one in london that will start running in less the an hour if things go right maybe less, so the info will never get lost.

  • thank you

  • Would it really be a good idea to host sensitive corporate data at a company which is in the business of data mining? Just look at Gmail, where the content of each mail is searched and relating ads are shown in the inbox. I sure can't see my company agreeing to that.

  • you're point of Google searching each mail in order to display related ads doesn't hold up. Spam filters do the same thing... ie, check your content to see if its spam or not. Its an anonymous process. using a similar process, to display related ads to content is no more invasive than Spam filtering, which i'm sure you'd not live without

  • SPAM filter software runs on my PC or on my company's server and it doesn't show me ads. Also, I'm know that my SPAM filter doesn't analyse the content of my emails and link it to my email address for any commercial reasons. Google offer some excellent services and I realize that they have to generate income to do so but they are getting too greedy with this data mining and I simply don't want them personalizing my data and profiling me. So, im my purely personal opinion, Google has become evil

  • @jimjim647 You have a valid point. But Gmail was his example (perhaps a bad one), the actual point he was making was company sensitive data stored physically outside the company's servers (in the case of Gmail: Google's servers).

I've come across a number of companies that don't allow the use of Google products for this reason. I'm not sure that I would do the same, but I can understand the reasoning behind it.

  • Actually if you sign up to Google Apps, they don't data mine - its part of the terms and conditions and the reason you pay for the service...

  • How interesting!

  • Awesome video and service. I use both daily!

  • I've always loved Common Craft's video style. Good job guys! :D

  • he isnt not said it right?

  • "Less headaches"? - if you need a copy editor for your scripts, let me know!

  • "one document, less headaches." Um, I think you mean, Fewer headaches. Doesn't Google have an official grammarian?

  • Why doesn't Google build their own CRM system?? Salesforce is too expensive!

  • I like the way this movie is made with funny icons made of paper.

Can you send me a few of these papers please Google?

    I really like them!

  • they are pretty adorable, google i want some these papers also.

  • Hello Google, good job.

  • LMAO i like the way they presented the video thingy. ist soo.. simple yet cool and easy to understand =D

  • bigg word=nerds

  • I have seen your vids

    you = nerd

  • couldn't care less about the software, but it was a really well done video.

  • Haha yeah, ditto to that.

  • I have already developed sales force software. This is a very lightweight support for sales. Good idea, but need to be more serious to satisfy larger teams than 4 people...

  • Have you tried gluing five to six SalesForce applications together? Duct Tape works as well.

  • this shiet is cool

  • wow that cool

  • Great video, Common Craft have great videos with a very distinct look and feel (this can be a problem)

  • google apps + salesforce = need i say anymore??? this totally rules!!!

  • brilliantly done

sounds really easy, guess i'll give it a try some day

  • and sounds easy, I'll try it out!

    Cool paper animations!

  • 10th comment :D

  • Do the google docs have privicy settings? Or is it open to everyone?

  • you have to invite people as contributers or watchers, when you are a watcher you can't edit things. the downside is that you can't view realtime updates:(

  • google docs has plenty of privacy settings that allow you to share docs both within and external to an organization.

  • 8-th comment...

  • the video descriptions don't appear.

my sent box has thousands of messages in it that shouldn't be there.

and my video box has 10,000 videos in it. please give us an option so we can empty the whole folder.

this amount of trash also makes the pages load slower.
