  • my nephew is autistic too hes also a happy little man :)

  • I was diagnose HFA at age 6 (!969) and had my first vaccination at 7.

I remember how much I loved spinning around as fast as I could and walking in a tight circle.

When I was diagnosed they put me on durgs. But I was lucky as my school teacher fought to get me off them..Bless her.

All through grade school I had speach and was in remedial classes. But in high school, I loved algebra and taugh myself computer programming and electronics by early 20's. couldn't read news paper till late 20's

  • Im on the spectrum and I was NOT vaccinated, My mom was VERY healthy. the vaccination theory is a bunch of bananas!

anyway, I love how that he listens to you when you tell him to be quiet. and he mumbles a bit and if you try hard you can hear some words come out. like Mummah, Not there. and him laying down his head near you looks like his way of being affectionate. :3 at least he is not completely closed off from you. have you tried teaching him vocal skills and words?

  • Btw your son has the cutest laugh :)

  • URGENT for All parents of autistic kids:

Many such kids can and do recover (or at very least improve significantly) after mercury is removed from their brains, by safe chelation. Please look up "autism-mercury onibasu", there you will find all the information you need to start your child's recovery. I was motivated to write this because human suffering is hard to watch - and I myself am now recovering from mercury poisoning as an adult. Most doctors have no idea of anything about the dangers a

  • @Banana27ification Unfortunately I firmly believe Autism is genetic and diet or anything else do little to help. All we can do is to adjust to them and keep them safe and be able to live their lives in any way they can, so long as they are happy... It doesn't take much to make them happy, to be honest. They are beautiful little things :) but they scare me sometimes lol my sister is autistic and she can get violent on me when she's frustrated.

  • @Banana27ification

I'm autistic and I can say that we don't 'recover' from Autism. Some of the symptoms may get better when we grow up but most of them stay as long as we live. Every person with autism is very different from the other.

And I did not 'get' Autism from a vaccination. I was born this way.

    Also I do not suffer.

Sorry for my crappy English. I'm from germany

  • my son is autistic to and he just turned 4 he doesnt talk either hope to get more videos up of him soon and i enjoyed watching your videos to

  • Sounds like he's gringing his teeth. My son did that constantly but it's a bit better now.

My son is autistic and an outgoing as well. I've noticed that sensory seeking autistic children seem to be more extroverted.

  • Was he vaccinated? Have you tried any diets?

  • @Adrenalyn Yes, he's been vaccinated, but we honestly feel like Jake issues are from birth.

Diets? Only the gluten and cassein-free diet. We saw little change and it was very hard to follow the diet.

  • @nicolajanes exactly my son is autism also hes two years old and hes the pickiest eater he only wants chicken steak groundbeef or potatoes or bannanas

  • He has the greatest laugh:)

  • I'm sorry your son head bangs. I have heard horror stories about kids in cribs banging their heads against the bars. I head bang, but I am not autistic. I do it when I am frustrated. It is entirely different, but I praise you for having such an adorable, special and amazing child. Autistic people are gifted. All "mentally ill" people are. You've been blessed. Teach him to love himself, and tell him he is intelligent every day of his life. xo.

  • What a cutie pie. My sister -in-law's son is autistic and he is just as outgoing as your little one. Keep up the great work, he is obviously very happy.

I loved that giggle of his, so cheeky!!

  • He is really cute poor lil thing

  • He giggles and squeals to communicate

  • Jake is a fabulous kiddo! He has a wonderful personality and because of this will go very far! My son was much like Jake at his age. The one thing I want to say is - speak to him just like any other child his age! If you are going to the store, tell him "we are going to the store to get milk. Wanna come?" Give him a way to communicate. Have him start pointing to letters on a piece of paper so he can point out words eventually. He is intelligent .. you can tell by the way he shows off! Cool!

  • What a little cutie, I enjoyed watching him especially his precious giggles. I have a daughter diagnosed with Autism. She is very vibrant and funny at times just like how your son is in the video.

I know most people don't like to hear the squeals, squeeches and funny loud noises that our children make but for me I like it and most of the time we laugh together. My daughter is non-verbal so any noise atm is her way of communicating.

Thank you for sharing, your son is adorable and funny

  • @miss5abr1na I agree I love hearing any noise coming from my lil brat lol! :-)

  • I wish I liked life this much.

  • He has the cutest little laugh, I just heard it, and couldn't help but smile. My little brother is on the spectrum and before we knew he had autism, we noticed that he would "turn the knobs" (twist his hands) for no reason.

  • Hi there,

I am waiting to get a diagonsis for my son who is 2 and a half. Watching your video, it just looks as if it could be my son. He hand flaps, shakes his head, bangs his head and high pitch screams for no reason. In a way these videos are good, at least I know and can see first hand other children with autism.

Thank you for sharing with us xxx

  • Yes he does seem happy. Hard to tell. My asd dd laughs when she's stressed out. And I hate those videos with the stills and weepy music too (especially, "Over the Rainbow.")

Have you tried the Watch me learn videos with him? They helped my dd.

    Good luck

  • what a sweet sweet boy you have.

  • if you would like my advice I work in a school for autistic spectrum disorder children and am a CABAS teacher rank one.

  • Hello there.

This video first off is cute. The boy seems very happy, autistic or not. I noticed in the description, you mentioned he is non-verbal. It seems to me that he has a lot to say, but just doesn't know how to say it. I remember working with an autistic student, I tried helping him socialize with individuals his own age (like me) and he was just so much fun! Very talented too. I really think people undermine the power of autism. I hope he is doing very well now. Thanks for posting. Gary

  • this is adorable, my little brother of 3 years as Autism, he can be very violent when he is angry but people do not realise how emotional and happy these children can be, - not saying all - he certainly does have an infectious smile! made me laugh x

  • Your boy is really cute! :D

Mi son also giggles a lot when he is happy :D

    Hugs

  • oh i luv your video....my son is 2 and non verbal and makes these same cute lil sounds.....thank you for making a happy video because there are tons to make me cry....i need a laugh and a smile not tears unless my son makes me laugh to tears....lol

  • Welcome. try searching PosAutive.

  • he is so wwonderful! is he watching tv? well he seems like a very happy boy! I can hear some noises in the backgound maybe he gets stimulated by that. I have a 3 year old that is exactly this way so I totally understand, blessings!
