  • I like the song and singer but, thanks to HBO's Real Sex, i'll always think of this as Porno Music.

  • The lobster in this video was apparently a crustacean musician called 'Rod Stuart' which has led to the common misconception that Rod Stewart played on this track.

I didn't know she was a black singer, her voice is different from the voice that black singers usually have (or had, back then).

The only thing I don't like about Oldies songs is that they are way too short and always finish before you had enough - like desserts and good moments in life...

  • From "Rock Explosion: The British Invasion In Photos 1962-1967." Quote: Rod "The Mod" Stewart was very much a part of the mid-1960's scene, though his name wasn't familiar to Statesiders until much later. HIS FIRST SIZEABLE CONTRIBUTION TO A HIT RECORD WAS PLAYING HARMONICA ON MILLIE SMALL'S "MY BOY LOLLIPOP" which climbed to number two in the U.S. in the summer of 1964. Thank you.

  • Got some Island records dated two years before MBL.Saw Millie at Leyton East London her concert was a disaster as her band did not show and a last minute replacement band of white OAPs struggled to play Ska !

  • What ever happened to her and what year was that concert?

  • 65-66 Leyton Civic centre. Seem she got married to a white guy and lost a lot of her Carib fan base (prejudice works both ways ! )

  • Thank you for that info but I thought I heard alot of her extended family on her father's side was married and had children by whites. Her marrying someone white is not strange. Alot of Caribbean people are married to Germans, Irish, Scottish and Australians.

  • hahahaha im love it !

  • That's a very young Rod Stewart playing harmonica on this record.

  • Thank you kcope001! I had some people arguing with me about that one on here.
