emmetts contribution to musicians in the past, now, and in years to come is nothing short of incredible. you may not like his musical style but dont knock his contribution. as a stick player i can tell you that a stick is amazing! About the only thing that is difficult to do on a stick is strum, but there are people who can incorporate strums on a stick. can you strum a piano? yet most will agree that a piano is an incredible instrument. some people have a hard time with new ideas .
as a long time intrumentalist, and a new owner of a Grand Stick, i have to say, this is the definite evolution of the stringed instrument. this thing is mind blowing.
@genanigaurav I'm a fan of both instruments, and a guitarist who has considered switching, but there are many reasons to continue playing guitar. The stick is awesome and Emmett is brilliant, but the stick is not the "future of guitar". As many great advantages as the stick offers in terms of harmonic flexibility and range, the guitar has significant advantages of it's own-not the least of which is a superior dynamic range and variety of techniques to get different timbres.
Pretty amazing playing. Especially considering at the time there really were few players to help explore techniques, these were Emmett's unique discoveries. The added effect of horizontal shirt lines and vertical jacket lines is the Perpendicular Galexy
Emmett is a true genius <3

@Gregorypeckory Amen from someone who ditched guitar for 6 years to play the Stick. The limited dynamic range grew tiresome.
