Thank goodness the Mp3 codec came along and changed the whole audioscape, else many of us would still be saving up half a grand for one of these cards ;)
I was able to remember and recite nearly everything the spokesman was saying....from pure memory....from sooo many years ago! I even remembered the phone number he reads at the end! Amazing! This is a piece of history here and was a big deal back in the day! Thanks again for posting!!!
WOW! This is a serious blast from the past. I had this tape in junior high school and used to day dream about having enough money to put a Roland MT32 in my Tandy :-P Thanks for uploading this!

Of course, an MP3 will only play pre-recorded samples and music. But, we have software based synthesis.
However, emulation efforts of the actual MT-32 hardware aren't quite there yet. They're VERY close to sounding like the real thing, though.
