@maxattax111 Absolutely not. It's a tree ring. There is also a sign nearby that illustrates which events took place in history when the tree had a certain age that you can see on the ring.

The sign is also 1 of the 25 you need to read for the achievement "Bright Falls Afficionado" (30G)

@barncroft To everyone having problems finding number 11 thermos (I also had problems with this one but this video helped me a little)

after you've gotten number 10 thermos and you've jumped down the hill you are then supposed to go left BUT go right instead and search around and you will eventually find the generator area where you can then follow this video for the thermos on the cliffside (thermos 11)

@josegp30125 I would say rent them both Alan Wake you can beat in like 8hrs I think depending on if you die, there will be DLC for it but not sure when. and Red Dead Redemption may be a rent but I traded in 2 games and got it for $20 so I figured I would just buy RDR. Alan Wake kept me in and I never wanted to stop playing it, maybe it was because I was doing this guide not sure but i enjoyed every minute of it. and for RDR its fun but maybe not $60 fun maybe $30-$40 but just my opinion

So if you buy used or are sharing with friend or family, unless your playin on the same xbox your SOL.. All DLC episodes will be 800 MS points...
