Honestly, they should remake all the Final Fantasies from 1-10, and do away with the shitty systems of FF2 and 8. I loved 8 but you could just level Seifer to 100, leave everyone else at a low level, draw high level magic and give it to others, repeat card games so you don't lose anything, then transform certain ones into holy wars and auras and boom, Omega Weapon is dead. One should be updated to allow for 9,000+ HPs and seriously buff their stats to be more in line with the others.

I just started a game on GBA and got through this fight and it seemed much harder, I died twice damn! I think this was my favorite part of the game, and of the whole Final Fantasies (even though I've only played a few so far). The music, the timing, the dialogue, the right amount of things being revealed, and right amount of things not being revealed, the characters' expressions....everything was just so great. This was a really powerful and stirring moment.

You never had to beat the Dark Knight! You just had to not attack him for two rounds. If you were fighting him on the SNES version, you were doing it the hard way! The voice tells you not to fight, after all.... They increased his HP for the DS version, so it's no longer possible to beat him.

Some of your stats are higher than mine were on both playthroughs but I don't know your augments so maybe that's where my advantage lies.

Anyway, general guide:

Haste on everyone

Slow on Zeromus

Edge should toss the knife first (9999 damage) then move on to fuuma shurikens then ur strongest weapons

Kain should jump (if u have darkness on him all the better)

Rosa should heal (duh)

Rydia should summon Bahamut.

When he starts to shake everyone should guard right away cause big bang's a coming!!!!
