Here we go it has terrible hardware issues especially the earlier consoles and the newer consoles still could have room for improvements. X-Box Live should be free and it does lag especially on less popular games.
Most of the content on X-box Live Marketplace is overpriced and the majority of extra content for games should be free but Microsoft likes to charge for it even if the game developers want to give it away for free. It sucks that you can only rent movies especially since you get to keep TV shows. All of the accessories for the 360 are overpriced especially the 120GB HDD. There could be more demos on the Marketplace a lot of games never released a demo.
The 360 should have included Wifi (even though I don't like Wifi because it causes more lag and only having Wifi doesn't work out so good for the Wii). It could have included a web browser (even though no console is going to replace computers when it comes to browsing the web anytime soon its a nice feature to have especially when your computer is having hardware issues and is out of service for a while). The 360 lineup of of games includes to many FPS.
There are some more problems the 360 has but I don't want to repeat myself. But despite all its problems the 360 still has the most games that appeal to me at the moment and a lot of them can be bought at bargain prices less then $30 (the only system that can trump this positive at the moment is the PS2).
Ok I don't own a PS3 at the moment but let me tell you of some flaws that I have observed by watching videos or reading articles. Mandatory HDD installs on a lot of games just to shave a few seconds of load times. When you download a demo you have to install it to your HDD on the 360 it installs automatically you just download it and your done its ready to be played.
I also saw a video of a kid that owns a PS3 and he didn't know how get updates for his games. On the 360 you just put in the game and if you are connected to the internet the updates it updates automatically and you don't have to have a Gold membership to get the updates their free. Also its nice that the PS3 controller has a rechargeable battery build in but once it runs out of juice you have to send it back to Sony and wait for two to three weeks for a replacement.
FWY, a lot of games don't need installs, like Uncharted, and it runs graet.
Installs, in games like GTAIV, prevent pop-up textures and objects, as well sudden frame drops, we've been over this already.
And demo installs? So one system does it automatically, while the other you have to press a button to start it. Big whoop!
The PS3 controller battery lasts for quite a few years. By the time it's dead(if), you would have spent more money in 360 battery replacements than me on a new controller.
Everybody bitches about the 360 controllers batteries but there is a easy and cheap solution to that problem its called rechargeable batteries another think at least the 360 controllers are on sale like every other week for $39.99 or $41.99 I never saw the siaxis on sale anywhere. Its nice that the mandatory installs also fix pop ups and frame rate issues but its still a pain unless you own a 80GB PS3 or upgraded to a bigger HDD.

I own all 3 systems and the only games I buy for the 360 are exclusives. The PS3 has a 10 year life cycle. That would be $500 for online play with your 360. Plus fees to repair it every couple of years. You're not too bright.
