@nixedmuts Just create a shortcut on Supermodel.exe, right click on the Supermodel shortcut and type in roms/(gamename).zip
Gamename is actually a name of a game that compressed in .zip file (ex roms/scud.zip plays Scud Race) to play it in fullspeed, you need a decent graphic card
I did but your instructions is kinda hard. Can you make the Supermodel installment easier like the other emulators like Project64 and Model 2? Just to make the set up easier, I really want to play Scud race SSSSOOOOOO Bad.
@nixedmuts I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't. Although as I recall, it may be necessary to go into the Task Manager and un-set/re-set the processor affinities in order to improve performance. Just give it a try and see.
@karadanianoI Oh, I don't know. I certainly didn't enable it explicitly. I'm using whatever the default settings are. I wasn't aware turbo boost even existed until now.
@karadanianoI You would not even need turbo-boost to run it at fullspeed with the correct settings. I found no need for any more than 3.0Ghz to run all the games at 60fps pretty much perfectly on my II x6. Also, remember that turbo-boost applies to stuff that uses less than the maximum number of cores...but well, Supermodel does not uses that many cores anyways.
@Elratauru i reallly doubt 3 ghz are enough to run fullspeed all the games, what about the rope level of lost world? with a 2.6 ghz core 2 duo i had 25 fps, but with my i5 2500k i reach 55 fps on that level with 4 ghz, turbo boost works great for supermodel and emulators, using 3 cores the i2500k reaches 3.7 ghz, big deal ;)
@karadanianoI Lost World is kinda special. That special scene renders a lot of geometry and I'm sure that Bart said that it was something that Supermodel was having a problem with. Though like I said, 90% of the other games run fullspeed with 3.0ghz already.

did you disabled the turbo boost feature?

@karadanianoI What turbo boost feature?
BartTrzynadlowski 1 month ago
@BartTrzynadlowski the intel turbo boost,
the i5 2500 k goes from 3.3 to 3.7 and the i7 2600k from 3.4 to 3.8.
you can check it with cpu-z while running a game

@BartTrzynadlowski well the turbo boost works by default when you run a game or an application that stress the cpu.
anyway, great work with the specular lights!
