help!!! i installed the ifly 737ng in fsx... and the fmc i put index then the pos init... then i put kmia then ref airport... and it says not in data base... what i have to do?
ok this tutorial is nice but you guys can use fsbuild to build the whole route directly into the PMDG folder and you can just enter it into the "CO ROUTE" so you'd save alot of time so you can concentrate on other things like planning your departure and arrival (SIDs and STARs)
@flying1airplane well cost is usually how much "more" fuel r u willing to spend to get to ur destination. for example 0 will get u there with least fuel possible but also will take longer as it will set the speed to the lowest possible for the trip. so the higher u go, the faster u get there and the shorter it takes to get there. Reserves means the ammount of "EXTRA" fuel u will put "INCASE" of any incidents (Eg. Stronger head winds, missed approach... etc) hope it helps
can someone please tell me how do you know which airways your traveling on. If so, can someone tell me where i would find the airways to dial into my FMC
@gryffindorhouse122 the airways is part of planning for your trip, if you use flight sim planning then u dont use airways but if you use route finder for that then you will get the airways.
Well... thanks for the information on the button to mute the music, I can see where it can be a handy tool. You can bet I will put it to use. No problem with music, as long as that is the reason for the video,. Perhaps the reason for your video was to highlight your taste in music and not a tutorial on the FMC. If so, just title it as such. Otherwise, just fade the music to gone and use voice-overs. Thanks again for the information.
There's this little icon that looks like a speaker near the bottom of the video...if you click on it, it will mute the video's audio. You should give it a try sometime.
okay i have both wilco airbus vol.1,2 but the heading and speed and ias/mach these autopilot stuff are empty which means i cant find numbers there , so how can i get back these numbers , guys pls. help me , i will be very thankfull.
type in the search box ''wilco airbus advanced flight tutorial'' and click part 1. it's from the user ''ouchpotato1'' or stg like that. it says everything
Hello. Great video. Can someone please help me? When I go into the plane the FMC is not on. I don't know how to turn it on. Can someone please help me and tell me how to put it on? It would mean alot to me. Thanks so much!
yeah, this is a "Real" FMS tutorial, complete with
Fuckin' Rave House Mix Cranked up over the top of the Lame VIsual. man, definately the way i like to learn about FMS. Great Post. why don't you go look at a few other TRUE Tutorials, where.........imagine this, the Poster actual speaks and shows you, step-by-step, how to do it. epic FAIL here.
I have a question. I'm playing very long time Microsoft Flight Simulator X. But there isn't an FMC available in the planes. How do I have get an FMC and how must I that serve?
Those FMC is NOT for "simple" aircraft that come into MFS 2004 or X. FMC are for more complex "add-on's" you must buy and install in MFS 2004 or X. Finaly you must try to learn their manuals otherwise it would NOT fly...(!) Manuals with sometimes 260 pages...!
It will be better to speak simple language, and show your mouse, instead of "...push LSK3L". Cause there is people who don't know what is FMC in a first place, and you told them to push LRGD%#JJ...button.
Ok, gonna use my best decorum and tact here. appreciate that you've posted something here, in hopes that this could be helpful. but...guys...calling this type of thing a "tutorial" is well off the mark. where do i begin. the Slick "hip-hop" track we can do without, having no Voice instructions is the cardinal sin here. the author didn't take into account whatsoever how difficult it is for the veiwer to have to "follow" with his eyes, your little mouse hand, flying about.
you are perfectly right Mr.drumdude. Mr.author please remove this songs and please explain on each of the button you operate so that viewer can really learn and there is a meaning in what you show here.
It depends on what FMC you're using. I'm trained on Boeing and McDonnell Douglas FMCs (Mostly the MD-80 and 737 Classic, the NG is the same except for a few things and the MD-11 is a totally different animal). You always have to remember the basics though, FPL will list all your waypoints, INIT REF MUST be done before leaving the gate as it includes your initial position and otherwise the INS won't work properly (Make sure you align before takeoff), and PERF INIT stores all of your perf data.
please tell me where you found that model b737 with that cockpir ?? If you can, please send me a private message with page adress to that b737. Thanks ;)
