Our family is big by most standards, we have 6 children and needed a large kid hauler. So with 8 of us we got a 01 PowerStroke turbo diesel Excursion. I enjoy errands in our 00' Turbo Diesel Beetle and am now looking to put together a nice turbo diesel motorcycle!
I'm guessing in the ballpark of 8-900cc like the Yanmar clones? Stock those are around 25hp. I was planning on building with a punsun but I just need to locate the bike to transplant into.
@arbit3r 1000 cc. sport bikes have engines that rev to 16,000 rpm so if you think about how low redline is those hp numbers are pretty good. And that 70 pounds of torque is across the entire power band cuz its a diesel so I bet this makes for a very one of a kind ride.
Any idea how many miles per gallon ?

Now after some tuning it runs 37 hp and 70ftlbs peak torque at the rear wheel, top speed 97mph with current gearing..
