@atoms i agree. seinfeld was a brilliantly written razor sharp sitcom. it was the clever post-modern stuff bit of doing a sitcom in which a series of inconsequentual things happen that made it clever. i also love the royle family for the same reason. phoenix nights, the office, extras, league of gentleman, lead balloon and nighty night were also clever because they subvert the sitcom formula as well. fawlty towers and one foot in the grave were masterful examples of the traditional sitcom.

I watched the full version a couple of years ago when it first aired, I think Seinfeld was interviewed first...anyway it was painful...Ross was out of his depth and very poor , there were almost embarrassing silences.I switched channels before this part and never watched his show again, I believe he was the highest paid UK TV performer at the time...awful.

@bankruptstate He was the final guest, Seinfeld the one who gets the most time. I think his question selection here was a bit awkward. Make no mistake he is one of the best UK and even worldwide performers. Watch his interviews with Robin Williams, Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr, Sylvester Stallone, Simon Pegg the list goes on lol. Unfortunately I concur this interview was a bit shit. I blame the guests :D
