She was the original inspiration for the movie, but was then mysteriously edited out before the movie was released. This is a very important part of the film, and I wish it were never cut. However, Esther Hicks is insane. She talks in third person and has many imaginary friends she calls "Abraham."

I cannot believe that they removed such an important part from the movie! This ties everything together and answers the big question everyone wants to know "how does this work?". I love that I got to see this. Very inspirational.

the reason why they are not in it is because the makers of the Secret wanted Ester and Jerry to sign their intelectually property, or something like that, to them.

It's all perfect as it is. To be honest for The Secret with the first CD it's easier to edit with the speakers that may be viewed more mainstream (like a lot were scientists, business or self help speakers). Now, if The Secret 2 came out...now they can add Ester Hick's because the mainstream have since learned the basic and now can expand to the level of Abraham...perhaps now a better opportunity to be more open to that idea/concept and etc.
