Ancient Romans do not equal Italians. The Romans, as a people, no longer exist. They mixed with Germanic peoples and their blood was spread across Europe. So, most people of European ancestry have Roman blood.
Also, you ask when they are going to be held accountable for their crimes. Why should an entire race be punished for what a few people of that race did TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO? If some black men killed a white man, or vice versa, should the whole race be held responsible? Of course not!

MOST Jews don't only accept "them selfs," they only accept *GOD*. (What you probably think of as the Father and Holy Spirit.) They just don't believe that Jesus was the messiah. A small number of modern Jews actually DO accept Jesus (ever heard of Jews for Jesus?).
In any case, things used to be different. Before the destruction of the great temple, many Jews didn't even define themselves that way. A lot of ancient Jews accepted Christ. They became some of the earliest Christians.
