ACN ask $500 because they want people who are serious about the opportunity, when you have nothing to loose you work less, it's a fact of life in the multi-level business. People know the facts before they sign and write their check, they didnt have to buy the phone, ACN has a proven system, if you dont work the system then you will not make money< know your ability. ACN video quality sucks!!! Skype video is as good as your webcam which can be HD if you want it to be. All android phones can have skype apps so you can use it anywhere through your cellular network. This videophone is tied down to the office or wherever it is, how can you take it with you? And it's only useful if someone else has it which nobody else does. Plus who wants to pay $30 bucks a month to use this, just use your current cellphone or add a cheap data plan to it. This is SHIT

ACN videophone doesn't even look good. Also Skype is free , it's free to install and free to use worldwide! ACN requires a network cable too, so it's tied down wherever you are. Skype occure wherever you got wifi, which is basically EVERYWHERE since you can tether your cellphone with your computer to get internet connection using your data plan. Save your money and don't buy this junk! Plus millions have Iphones and nobody has ACN vidophone , use Facetime, it's free and uses 0 minutes

A video phone is much cheaper than having facetime, more convenient than SKYPE and yes less expensive. Your business (if it's not complete bullshit) has overhead. You have operating costs, advertising, employees, etc. I pay $499 and I never have to have advertise, fix anything, pay employees or release products. ACN takes care of everything, and gives me the tools I need. $499 is still the cheapest business you can buy :)

My $499 barely pays the wages for one worker in an ACN call centre for one week. My $499 gives me a CRTC (a license which legally entitles me to sell telecommunications services), it gives me software, documents and it covers everything I'll need for this easy business

As much as I'd love to drag this large phone around with me to "anywhere in the world", that's why I carry a cell. And if I desperately need to see the person I'm talking to, my laptop and wifi should do the trick. ACN offers a better value (for free) on local, long distance, internet, satellite tv, natural gas, electricity, and soon-to-be insurance. That's why I'm in ACN. Who doesn't want a cheaper bill on any of those services? Everyone I know is happy to have their bill reduced as much as 60%, while still keeping the exact same service.

Contract: 2 years. Warranty: 1 year.

If you break it after your warranty's up, they give you 3 choices.

1) Buy a new phone and start a 'new' contract for 2 MORE YEARS. ($ - current video phone cost.)

2) Not do anything, keep paying bill without using it. ($50/month)

3) End contract for $300.

So if your phone breaks (even if its not your fault) after 1 year, you're forced to pay money.

It's THEIR fault that the phone broke, but WE have to pay the price.

Use skype instead.

One doesn't need to buy any other equipment than a computer to videochat for free with another person who has a computer and a fast internet access. Hook it to a flat screen - no problem. Many laptops come with built-in cameras too. Detached cameras start at $25. Setting up is a matter of minutes, thanks to Skype, etc. Videochat can cost nothing. But again, grandmas might like it, or people without a computer. So no need to get angry at each other here.

Please remember that the reason most ACN reps sound so excited is because they are trying to make their 500 dollars back. These phones are garbage. They only work when you call someone who has the same model phone. The phone is very difficult to set up. I knew an ACN VP who couldn't even set his up and just kept it in a box.
