Just to clarify, I dropped in the audio from "The Monster Of Peladon" over the proper Belladonna song - a bit of audio trickery, you see?
The narrator for "The Herbs" was Gordon Rollings. Oliver Postgate was responsible for such programmes as "The Clangers", "Ivor The Engine", "Bagpuss" amongst others.
folks, the 'song' is actually audio dropped from Pertwee's Dr Who story.. its not ' Belladonna's ' song see/hear the proper undoctored song uploaded by MerkzySooka
Pertwee has a pleasant singing voice. I like his speech patern as well. he was my favorite Doctor(I saw the first airings of Tom baker is the U.S.). His best line ever was when Sgt.Benton commented on how the Doctor talks as if the Tardis were alive. The Doctor smiles enigmatically and simply replies, "...Yes..."
The strange thing is that Belladonna the witch was only on one episode because It was said that she was too scary, funnily enough I do not find her scary at all.
I love the way Parsley peeks in at the end!

Wonderful, actually Jon Pertwee used the song again in an episode of Dr Who

@ivanmullan6000
Well spotted, but that's why the maker of this clip added it over the original sound track. It's from the Monster of Peladon, see above.
