  • its a plumbers kit of death!

  • I'm not trolling here but you idiots... the IRA have recently had these siezed off them in Northern Ireland claiming to have learnt how to make them in this video. Great now they have a better way to kill innocents.

  • Was the cheap digital lens flare at 1:20 really, REALLY necessary?

  • why is he so out of breath?

  • You're ignorant taking sides and having no idea what's going on. I treat don't treat anybody any different unless provoked.

  • Y U NO HIT X?!

  • if that was a tank it would have more than one inch of armour

  • Didnt they invent explosive armor to counter-act this device o.O? Given it does not have a tandem-warhead.

  • 3:13 look at that beautiful hole! LOL

  • the military seems to give wierd names for new inventions. examples: bangalore blade, dragon skin, krakatoa, beowolf, sabot, metal storm, ect.

  • Squidward: "KRAAAKATOOAAAAAAAAA!"

  • @hamsters4ever -_- Typical american.

    Krakatoa was a volcano.

This is a part for rolls t!

  • @Horrorlord1 Typical foreign retard. I never denied that it wasn't. I never needed to even say it was a volcano. Stop trying to find reasons to hate. You fucking arrogant bastards don't know common courtesy and manners.

  • @hamsters4ever "foreign retard", now that is pathetic. I am god, and you are an insect.

  • @Horrorlord1 Maybe instead of trying to attack somebody American because you think you're of higher status than anyone else, why don't you just try being a nice chap? It's small things like that which would make the world a better place better instead of pouting about the America that isn't as horrible as you people make it out to be ON THE INTERNET. If you want to act like that, do something about America. No wonder people from all over the world want to live in the U.S.

  • Comment removed

  • @hamsters4ever that weapon right there is a an IED that insurgents use against the US. :| this is just portable and more useable

  • @hamsters4ever Just because someone is not from America doesn't mean they should be treated negative. Respect people and get some respect back.

  • @Horrorlord1 Maybe it's because you imply that you are indeed illiterate that you felt that you HAD to point it out and without communicating as you would as a mature member of society. And wow, you point to my insult, and not my main point. Instead of trying to prove yourself by retaliating against the argument you choose to look like an asshole and come up with an insult to try and best mine. Get out.

  • 3:!4 "Look at that beautiful hole" LMAO haaha

  • "this weapon is perfect for stealth missions." huge explosion 2 sec later

  • Yup. In Finland we call that a "kylkimiina" and they've been in use since atleast 1981 I believe. So yeah...a real future weapon *giggidy*

  • "It's basically a blahblah blah blahhh". Everybody's an expert in the mindlessly obvious. Especially when they've just watched a video explaining exactly what they just saw.

  • a bullet in a bullet... bulletception

  • I hope Hadji doesnt have this but Hadji is always looking for something better .

  • Its a miniture EFP (Explosive Form Penetrator) the same stuff that was used against my unit in Iraq back in January of 2007. Its light weight and effective but Hadji uses a bigger version that looks like a rock to camouflage it . Most of the EFPs in the south of Iraq where I was at are made by the Iranians .

  • How many of these can be carried by a seal compared to other anti-vehicle weapons?

  • next future weapon: the multiple krakatoa launcher!!!

  • Comment removed

  • The insurgents use(d) bunches of these (EFPs - Explosively Formed Projectiles) to great effect in Iraq. Nothing can stop them.

  • like the baldheaded guy says, its a shaped charge...modern at-weapons uses this kind of charge to penetrate armor, search for HEAT = high explosive anti tank!

  • "even an entire warship" I highly doubt that its this kind of shit which detonates near that ship, its more likely a torpedo. that bald headed guy is just full of shit.

  • No bigger than a beer can... Well that gives me ideas

  • haha sieht aus als würden die koks stopfen XD

  • if these look like plumbers items could they have been placed around some of the columns it the twin towers and detonated and if 1 small 1 can do that damage what would 6 do to a standard concrete and steel column just as you think nothing so small could do so much damage the krakatoa comes along and now you dont need 1000lbs of explosives you just need 2 plumbers sorting out the heating with tubes of plastic explosives like silicone tubes and some pipe parts that plumbers use and copper discs !

  • EFP anybody? Its called an "explosively former penetrator"or EFP. The terrorists, most prominently in Iraq, have been constructing and implementing these, sadly, with great success against our up-armored HMMV's. Great anti-armor capability especially with the concealability compared to IED's that were fielded earlier in the War on Terror. No longer did you hafta have a guy dig up half a road to place an explosive charge that could knock out our vehicles. Great to see we picked up on the tech.

  • regualr mad proffessor that pommy dude hey :)

  • aren`t almost all of the RPGs work like that? i just know our does fuck up a tanks armor exactly with this lance of melted copper... - not new at all guys !!

  • Please don't buy into everything this douchebag says in his show. He plays everything up at least ten times the real size to attract viewers, and thus earn more money.

  • REALASE THE KRAKTORA

  • imagine that replacing american grenades

  • Comment removed

  • i want this for christmas!

  • modern warfare is getting pretty scary...all thats left now is lasers and other energy based weapons.

  • @McBlasterson Actually navy took out a small speed boat with a laser with tests. Marine corp has been working on laser pulse rifles for a while but didn't work out, but the military industrial complex is always working towards more lasers. Israel just made the world's first active defense system for it's tanks which will intercept RPGs and missiles by SHOOTING them before it hits the tank. Simply amazing...

  • does anyone know if any of these are actually used by the military? i know some of the drones that have been on this show are but what about this thing for example?

  • @levipembroke

Yes they are used by terrorists in Afghanistan to stop military vehicles,

  • are you serious?! That thin piece of copper?? unbelievable

  • It's basically a small wireless IED. Explosives that insurgents use all the time.

  • lol at future weapons these babies have been burning us tanks since 2003>>>home made by Iraqis look in Wikipedia for efp

  • dear santa...

  • I wonder if you could modify this into a launcher form and have it act like melta guns from Warhammer 40k. Or might the shitload of plastic explosive prove too powerful for the blast to be contained and not kill the operator?

  • @iancwm its the same technology used in the rpg

  • you know thats hawian for volcano

  • @dirtycurtie31 wrong. its indonesian. Check wikipedia

  • Why would they ever teach people how to make this thing?

  • @100nitrog War isn't fun, but there is a time when it's necessary. Hitler killed 6 million Jews; had the US, Russia, and England not declared war and stopped him, think how many more would have died.

  • then to make a blasting cap you could get some hexamine(camp stove fuel) and hydrogen peroxide to make HMTD and mix with a little etn from earlier.

For the body copper could be easily hammered into a cone for a shaped charge for high penetration or a shallow bowl to make an explosively formed penetrator at stand off distances. The plastic parts could easily be made out of pvc sewer pipe and fittings

  • crack a toe

  • This is the perfect weapon for a stealth mission...*explosion*

...We're drunk. You don't have an excuse.

  • This isn't revolutionary nor new. It's just a cheap copper shape charge. Same shit arab fighters use in iraq/afghan.

  • @northroad1 even the germans used it in its world wars. they must have buld it after secret future papers the US stole in the war. and now finally got to read them

  • "Krakatoa" Hmm... Sounds like fireworks...

  • you can call it Panzerfaust 2.0 :D:D

  • this looks like something that could be built at home

  • @gmosphere

buy nitric and sulphuric acid, then erythritol(sweetener) for ETN, maybe even methanol for methyl nitrate or cotton wool for nitrocellulose. Then extract some polyisobutylene from blutac and you've got some Palestinian Playdoh. If you can't find anything it can all be bought easily on ebay(at least here in the uk)

  • "you wanna play rough?!.. OKAY! say hello to my little friend!!!"

  • but will it blend?

  • so many English weapons designers in this show

  • Oh god, i can see it now, in the next sci-fi shooter game, there will be a gun that the ammo is one of these

  • @bytemeah It will juce.

  • So... what is its purpose?

Just dig a big hole on a tank then leave it operational?

  • no bigger than a bear can! that means you cna drink bear out of it. and it's made of plastic so it can repace those ultra loud aluminum cans perfect for a stealth mission

  • @driveby14000 learn how to spell beer

  • Is it possible to.. say.. Hold it in your hand while you fire it?

  • The Krakatoa, the only weapon that can defeat the Kraken may be!

  • but will it blend?

  • made about as much damage as a Sabot round you want something that can crater a tank or tear it in half...

  • Chuck norris does that with a fart. Not impressive.

  • Porn for Max Manus !!

  • insurgents have been using weapons like this for years, this "inventor" is no genius...

  • Stealthy

  • yesturday i bought 2 at the supermarket

  • I wonder how well it would do against a few inches of steel-encased depleted uranium armor...

  • mmmmmmm... butter....

  • Looks like cocaine to me, not plastic explosvies.

  • I loved the fake lens flare at 1.20-1.32. They didn't even bother to change it in the cut to antother scene, just let it lay there, overlapping, looking pseudo-awesome.

  • I take one of these things while i'm camping.

  • It seems easy to make. You should hope the people who make suicide vests aren't watching this. Most of the parts for this you could get at your local Home Depot or Lowes.

  • @STSWB5SG1FAN

like 2 pounds of plastic explosives... available at your local home depot

  • @ydoesutubesucksobad Plastic explosives ..... Available at you local gun show or on the black market and kudoos to Discovery for giving out ideas how to sink our ships

  • It seems easy to make. You should hope the people who make suicide vests aren't watching this.

  • now on somodys head

  • I don't see how a hole 5 inches wide could sink an entire ship. The hole in the USS Cole was 40 feet wide and the ship still floated.

  • @slapnpopbass it said disable, not sink. there is a difference, and if it was positioned right it could sink a ship.

  • @slapnpopbass through the engine casing.

  • you could make modern wart with that thing

  • the real Krakatoa released 200 megatons of TNT compared to Hiroshima bomb 20 kilotons, the volcano destroyed half of the island when it exploded.

the inventor of the weapon has a big ego to name it that

  • Krakatoa is a volcano. :o

  • whats with him and butter...and hot knives?

  • The IRA used something similar to kill a dude in a limo.

    Nothing new.

  • @Downfacingdog arabs use these to take our abrams now iran makes them for them

  • compact and deadly just like me

  • It's an EFP the Iraqi's and Afghans have been using these for the last 10 years and longer!!

  • Is this my sardine can? which is it? oops XD

  • "the Krakatoa is made of all plastic."

Guess bombs have to made eco-friendly too?

  • @unknownazn6 plastic isn't eco-friendly -.-

  • Surely it melts steel - it doesn't "smash" it - hence the name. Does this guy read books or do any research at all before filming?

  • @Finkie147 "it melts steel - it doesn't "smash" it"

No It smash it ! Your using the detonation wave to accelerate the copper , Copper is use for the low melting point and the high wight so you generate a heavy molten metal jet at high velocity .

It´s "smash" and burn , just the combination you need for a armor kill .

The melting its do to kinetic energy more than heat in the material .

    And don´t get smart ass now , i know my Misznay–Schardin . .

  • KRAACK-AA-TOAAA!

  • 80 pounds ? more like 40

  • I believe its not as powerful as the real KRAKATOA :P

  • look at that hole

  • dont we have bullets that can penetrate that much steel?

  • It's easy to carry, but does it blend ?

  • so what is new?

  • "no bigger than a beer can"?....i want to know where he gets his cans of beer from :D

  • Kosa asy

  • @introdude445 Fail it's Co sa asy

  • @SlackSamurai if you do stealth missions then i believe you but it is impossible for a random guy to know all those things

  • @SlackSamurai Note:Asshole comment coming in 3...2...1...

"Oh, didn't know you had seen most stealth missions."

Disregard it. It's just me bustin' your butt. =\

  • This use a lot of explosive, I think it could be used more efficiently.

  • MMHHH Penetration :)

  • Where's the "invention" in that? I mean, it's nothing but a shaped charge, and those have been used as early as in the attack on Eben Emael in 1940.

  • @DevSolar and a tank is just a hunk of metal too :/

  • oh wait this is what the insurgets have been using for years in Iraq, at least the dont call themselfs experts

  • What we saw them use was a foot section of drainage pipe packed with Semtex. The milled copper disk was the real important part. It has to be milled to certain thinknesses. Hell, we saw examples that were made of old buckets.

  • "This is perfect for a stealth mission..." BOOM!

  • He like the combination of Knife and Butter.

  • Notice how the west or europeans develop these weapons, the tech leaks or is duplicated for 1/10th the price and then used against us within a year? Maybe our next military breakthrough should be a rifle that fires "hurtful remarks"

  • @ThisPageStaysREAL we already have a few of them. there called politicians

  • BUT will it BLEND?

  • not smart, better gp didn't know about this

  • These explosive experts really aren that smart,

  • missed the x.

    fail

  • I wonder if they can make bullets in a similar fashion, might not be enough metal though

  • We saw the insurgents in Iraq make these out of spare parts. Goddamn things worked.

  • @TheThunderduck i saw a video of that, while this clown has all sorts of electric firing mechanisms, hajii just chucks it like an old school german grenade, with devestating effect.

  • This host is such a fucking pantload.

  • Ive just got 3 words for that.....

    HOL-E-SHIT!!!

  • But will it blend that is the question

  • I see this having a potential as a mine, just imagine blowing it up under the motor of a tank ?

  • that wasnt any plastic explosive thats a can of coke :/

  • I want someone to set off 10 at once.

  • @BigBen9719 Hey man you only want Krakatoa not Pompei

  • "perfect weapon for a stealth misson" BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM SO MUCH STEALTHHHHHH!!!

  • @gold3nd33d you can carry several of them easily.. set it up in cover somewhere you know armor will pass and then detonate it remotely, sounds pretty nifty for 'stealth' missions to me, but I'm not a soldier ;)

  • @gold3nd33d hahaha i know when i heard that i was like :O stealth my ass!

what a ridiculous weapon... i would hate to be in war in like 10 years

  • @gold3nd33d shut the fuck up dumbass

  • @gold3nd33d stealth missions like only "MAN MISSIONS" there is no planes no tanks involved in such missions to hide identity of the nations involved in such operations.

  • @romz1988 yes people dont know anything about military operations but i think some one will wikipedia and quiz me i agree with you

  • @drako131 dude that was awesome music you got there. I like it!

  • RELEASE THE KRAKATOA!

  • @jarjarbanks22 :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • oh yeah ... this is a great weapon ... "sarge, how close to the tank do I need to be before firing??? 25 yards??? uhhhh I think I'll just fire an RPG 100 yrds out instead"

  • @St3pYaGameUp Apparently you havent heard about Haji using copper rounds on U.S. vehicles and tanks and making swiss cheese of them. Every weapon has its application, dumbnuts.

  • @ShhDontMove Ur mom has an application to, Deeznuts

  • Chack Norris is more powerfull that this...

  • @ssmilbah Oh, please... Chuck Norris would be offended for merely comparing this shit with him :))

  • chinese monks can do that too

  • bring on the time warp !!!!!!!!!!

  • ok man all that is, is an EFP.. hadji's been using this in iraq and afghanistan for a bit now..

  • ''Look at that beautiful hole'' o_O

  • 1:19 (DOES) gay much?

  • they make this seem so amazing. this is just an EFP. most IEDs in Iraq and Afghanistan are EFP's similar to this

  • @rustyredz4 Yeh but this could go through an abrams or challenger which the insurgents over there fail to do with their IED's. The best they manage is taking the tracks out!

  • @kyle1172 it's called an EFP. it kills a lot of people and dismembers those it doesn't. yes, in iraq/afghanistan

  • @maelstrom48 I know it's called a EFP, I can read lol.

  • Because nothing screams stealth like an explosion.

  • i thought it was just a suicide bomb? but wtf do i know

  • "this is the perfect weapon for a stealth mission" *BBOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!*

think they would notice you shooting giant pieces of explosive copper at them?

  • what would we need more weapons for?

why would we invent better weapons... for what?

war that is even more brutal and terrifying then it already is?

why would you want that. just stop. you aren't saving the world by inventing new and more deadly weapons.

please copy and paste this comment to other video's like this to safe the world.

i am not a fag but who wants war?

  • @freakenproduction commentating on videos 3 years old will not stop war

  • @freakenproduction - Might want to win that war yeah?

This tool is awesome. You can detonate at a distance so sneak in, plant the device and sneak out...blow up. That's why it's 'perfect for a stealth mission'.
