plays pretty for baby was the name of an album by the 1990s punk band "the nation of ulysses " I'm assuming it was a high school influence of anthony green's. That same album also had a song called "the sound of jazz to come", which referenced the Ornette Coleman album titled "the shape of jazz to come", which was later referenced by the amazing punk band "refused" when they wrote their third album entitled "the shape of punk to come" which has since then been referenced by many other bands.
