OK, I am a huge fan of both the saga and the trilogy, but Star Wars is better. This is because of better characters( the Emperor, Dooku, Yoda, Kenobi, and... VADER!), the weapons like the death star, star destroyers, and cruisers, and of course lightsabers! Also, Star Wars has... The force. The Dark Side of the Force is more evil then the ring of power.

If your going to compare Star Wars and Lord of the Rings think about this.Lucas made use of that nice blue screen he had because where am i going to go and find a death star?Lord of the Rings was able to use a real set because it wasnt a sci-fi movie.Both movies are epic. 5/5

Yeah, so Lucas used Blue Screen & enhanced special effects but he also "borrowed" elements from the works of many authors especially J.R.R. Tolkien.

Yes, they're both epic & while Star Wars might have more memorable fights scenes, LOTR has that & much more any day at any time anywhere!

Bullcrap, LOTR never has an awkward moment & never has any wasted scenes while Star Wars might be more epic, it's Prequels have awful dialogue, lame stories & bad acting. The only thing that makes up for it is the action & special effects
