Hey cool guy, @aaronkchollon ... who are these experts? If you think Phish is just "decent" then your perception of improvisational music is clearly very poor. Please inform me of these superior musicians asap and don't say the Grateful Dead or Allman Brothers because I would compare both to Phish any day of the week.
Do any one of you know a band from Lake Tahoe Cal called Cosmic Freeway? Where can i get some of there music, they used to be great in the early 90.s...one of them was a chef..

Keyboard solo was not very adventurous (for a group that claims to be very improvisational). I'm always a very open-minded listener, but I just can't find anything about this band that I find interesting. I don't hate them, but there are so many other bands that I would rather listen to.

THe amazing thing about this song is, except for some of the vocals, all of it was recorded live in the studio without parts being dubbed over. So when it sounds like more than one guitar, thats trey using a pedal or effect and such. Crazy.
