Did you know Jack-o-Lanterns were originally not carved from pumpkins but other types of squash, and they were placed outside of peoples doors to protects their homes from the spirits! It was the Celtic new year and they believed that the boundaries between the worlds was weak at this time of year and that demons and spirits would rise to kill them, so they made masks that looked like demons or monsters so that the actual ones wouldn't harm them. Christian's get hyped up over nothing. Learn about the actual meaning of a thing before ye denounce it.
