Fossils are formed when animal carcasses end in water or wet mud. The bone matter slowly leaches out & is replaced by minerals which eventually form rock. These are rare circumstances for primates: even so, we have fossils

Actually no, the belief or not belief has nothing to do with it. It is the acts you commit that determine it. If murder were a sin would you go to Hell if you committed it? Yes, but over time since many soldiers and cops are forced to face that fact regardless of the fact they are doing it legally they still sin. So then over time it shifted to 'are you a believer' rather than what you do. Same thing with being Jew? No, if you don't walk the walk all the belief means nothing.
