@poopologist96 ...nope- it's called a "sound screen", and helps with certain drum overtones when playing live...Keeps them from 'bleeding' into the sound mix. i used to use one back in the eighties, as well.

Thanks much for your informative response. I only now recall seeing similar screens used by drummers in 1-2 videos of bands recording in the studio, but never in a live concert setting, despite attending many rock-pop concerts in auditoriums and clubs until 1996.

I've seen them live and all were amazing. Chrissie gave me chills (as always), she was amazing! They put on a great show filled with old memories, new material and a lot of joy in doing what they do.
