hey does anyone know how to make an electric guitar a bass or is it really easier than i think

not easy to make it play in tune. it would be way cheaper to just find a $50 bass and slap a really nice pickup in it. the tension on the neck from the bass strings would ruin it within an hour of tuning it up.

take a chunk of plywood, cut it to your liking, add tuning pegs to one end, and a bridge to the other, add strings, and you've got a bass. just add a pickup to the side, from a peizo.
