No wonder that if the training is done by psychopaths and in the insane way of US army you end up by having psychopaths for cops. Also, any intelligent person will leave the training on the second day.
Don't understand what all the bad comments are coming from, this is standard training for any Police dept, Military or even hell week at high school. It weeds out the ones that can't handle it. If they can handle this treatment they should be able to handle the a*& wholes in society. How should they be trained nicely so when some a*& whole starts being aggressive the new cop gets all panicky and takes his gun out and shoots him.
My drill instructor was pissed 24/7 with me as i was taller/bigger and could kick his ass (and later did!) not kidding... the late 60's was so much fun (for me :-p)
It's called stress inoculation, people. When things go bad, shots are being fired, you all expect the police to run into the gunfire and handle the problem. How do you think they are selected/trained to do that? Yes, they get yelled at in the academy. If they are the type that fall apart under stress, you find out there before lives are at stake. If they aren't, they learn to keep focused through the stress and complete their task. You have a better way to train for that, I'm all ears.
@lastblueline There are PLENTY of ways to create stress inoculation WITHOUT demoralization you ass! This is MILITARY tactics to dehumanize cops not make them understanding people with decision making capabilities. It's whole goal is to make human robots that react, obey 'authority' and follow the 'rules' without question rather than attempting to make any kind of judgement call, no matter how small, on how to proceed with a situation.
@lastblueline Yeah last I have an idea on how to improve their training, teach them the CONSTITUTION, I know that police are trained to threaten, harass, and intimidate civilians into cooperating with them so that the person in question is so psychologically terrified his last thought is about whether his rights are being violated, he (or she) just wants the encounter to be over and is willing to do just about anything and give up any right to please his aggressor (the cop)
@Appollyion This is the absolute truth. It's one of the many reasons TWO of my uncles quit being police officers back in the '90s. They couldn't stand it anymore even back then. From what I understand, with the way things are now, it's way worse than it was even back in the '90s. The good ones seem to either quit in frustration, or become corrupted themselves because they just give up trying to do the right thing.
@lastblueline Yep you probably guessed it if you were a part of law enforcement of any type in your past I was a law enforcement officer, and it was witnessing constant violations of a given person's rights and watching people crumble psychologically under the bellowing voice of a fellow officer that caused me to quit, I was disgusted with many of my fellow officers and refused to participate in or help an organization of hired thugs. I wanted to be a cop to protect not to harm.
@Appollyion you and I both know (if you were in fact trained in any kind of law enforcement) that we are taught to lie to a suspect and to try and break them psychologically into confessing a crime, we are not trained to protect their civil liberties, leave that to the lawyers was a favorite saying in my academy, anyway I can go on and on but whatever man you keep on thinkin what you want and saying what you want cause the REAL hero's go on a battlefield to ensure you have that RIGHT
@Appollyion You damn right the cops are trained to lie! I've personally experienced this and seen it happen to others as well. Especially when (nowadays) they try to bully people by telling them that they will arrest and charge them with a felony for video recording them. I've seen cops flat-out lie to people all the time. Oh yeah, my favorite one? When they tell you, "Just cooperate and we'll help you out." or "We'll go easy on you and cut you a deal etc." I even see this all the time on
@Appollyion "First 48" on cable TV when they are interrogating (excuse me "interviewing") suspects. I always end up sitting there yelling at the TV "Keep your mouth shut and demand an attorney!" Of course, they never do. Even when they are told (because the cops are required to when arresting somebody) that the yhave a "right to remain silent." Another favorite lie of mine is "We just want to help you." BULLSHIT. The cops aren't there to help you. They are there to collect evidence and charge
This is NOT how you train people to protect the public!! This is how you train killers who only know how to follow orders and behave as arrogantly and violent as possible unless a superior is present!! This is creating BEYOND a police state, you are being 'protected' by psychopaths led by superiors who have no compassion and no brains beyond what a very, VERY small group of leaders TELL them to think and do. These 'cops' think everyone around them is trying to KILL THEM!! IN-FUKCING-SANE!!
@viligeidiot Spoken like someone who has never served or sacrificed anything. You have no idea what it takes to run into gunfire to save lives. If you can't handle someone screaming at you, how can you make the right decisions under stress?
@lastblueline Let me guess. By your username "lastblueline", I am assuming that you are a cop, were a cop, or are a friend or relative of a cop or cops. Am I right??? That would explain your worship of arrogant jackasses who have hijacked a once-honorable profession. I really do think you need a serious reality check before you learn the truth the hard way.
@viligeidiot The USMC is trained this way because they MUST be in order to be an effective fighting force against foreign enemies. However, the police are NOT the USMC and never were intended to be! Their functions are completely different. And we wonder why moist cops are egotistical assholes who more and more engage in brutality and civil rights violations against the people they were originally intended to serve. SMH...
@typhon3808 I agree absolutely! The past decade and a half... especially since 9/11 the police are getting extremely out of hand and are behaving more and more like gestapo troops. I live in Toronto and you should've seen the G20 here (if you haven't already). The cops pissed all over our civil rights, arrested COUNTLESS people on absolutely NO basis or crime and beat the living shit out of a whole bunch of them, including an old guy with one leg and crutches! I weep for the future.
@viligeidiot Damn, for some reason I was thinking Canada was better! I was even thinking that if shit got TOO bad in the USA I would try and move to Canada because it would be better there. Maybe not...
@typhon3808 Unfortunately it is getting worse and it doesn't help that our current P.M. is an American toady sucking your G'ovts ass like it's candy and ruling like nobody else in the country matters shoving his own laws through without asking, creating the draconian police force we have now using you guys as an example, plowing through our privacy rights wherever he can... the list goes on. The outer towns are still pretty good, as long as you don't get on the wrong side of the RCMP
@viligeidiot Who is Canada's Prime Minister right now? I think I'm going to do some research about Canadian government etc just to see how it is structured and all that. Is Canada still subject to the British Crown? I've heard some say "yes" and some say "no."
@typhon3808 Our current P.M. is Stephen Harper. No, we haven't been subject to the British crown for some time, can't remember the date but it's why we celebrate 'Canada day'. We DO however still pay the crown a sort of 'tax' every year which a lot of people are disgusted with. BTW, very recently, the conservatives (Harper's gov't party) is in deep shit for apparently trying to 'fix' the last election by having 'robocalls' call voters and misdirect them to polls that didn't exist!
@viligeidiot I always wondered what "Canada Day" was all about. Kind of like our "Independence Day" on the Fourth of July. Maybe some people think Canada is still subject to the Crown because you pay a tax to them. My question is, if Canada is independent of the Crown, why pay them tribute? I'd tell them to stuff it in their tea and crumpets! As for the Conservatives doing that, sound like the Republican Party here in the USA. LOL
@typhon3808 I agree about the tribute but it was part of the agreement for independance and still exists to keep trade and political ties smooth. Bloody Brits still treat us like shit when they visit on holiday like they still own us though. All the other UK residents (Irish, Scots etc.) are extremely cool tho....
@viligeidiot That kind of makes sense (to keep trade and political ties smooth). When I went to the UK about 5 years ago, I found that the British people were quite nice and I had no problems whatsoever. Maybe their feelings towards Canadians are different than towards US citizens. I don't know though.
@typhon3808 I didn't mean to lump in ALL Brit's, it's usually just the well off snooty ones that treat us like shit, even some of the upper middle class... but the regular folk (pretty easy to tell the diff) are great. Even had a few offer to put me up at their place if I ever went over. ;-) .. I mainly know the rich from waitering in 'exclusive' restaurants and high profile security gigs I had.
@viligeidiot Unfortunately, you're going to find that with rich people no matter where you go. Not all rich people are like that, but most are. I think it's just a reflection of human nature. Sad but true.
@viligeidiot there has to be a certain degree of the same training, with gangs and all. The gangs are no different than terrorist to me. Cops have to deal with the crap of society. That doesn't mean that they can treat everyone like crap, but after a while that happens sometimes. I know a lot of cops and they aren't ass wholes. The questions we should ask is are cops egotistical because of there training or were they egotistical before they became cops.
@viligeidiot I think you are painting them with a very broad brush. I do agree that the Departments are creating this situation by the lack of Constitutional emphasis but that is coming from the elected officials that have appointed them. I think you can point to certain examples to bad cops but to paint all cops that way isn't fair. Should I conclude that all Canadians a ass wholes because I have come across a small percentage that are. I think not. There are many examples of good cops.
@pinghead105 Look, I know a few cops, have FRIENDS that are cops, but there is something inherently wrong with the system because there are more BAD cops out there than ever! Check the G20 films of Toronto, I witnessed that crap LIVE and it's only one weekend of cops behaviour. I'm a law abiding citizen and have had several run ins with them to the point I don't trust them PERIOD! Hell, I got the crap beat out of me over a SNOWBALL! I didn't even hit the cop!!
@viligeidiot There's something in Toronto called 'The Cherry Beach Express' and it's not extremely well known, but essentially the 'beach' is a very large abandoned industrial area along the waterfront where cops take people (bad and good), kick the living shit out of them and then just leave them there to crawl home. There is no recourse here if the cops do something wrong... cop smacks up your car? rips you off? beats you up? anything, who investigates? MORE COPS!
@viligeidiot It's hardly just me... a LOT of people are fed up with the cops and the RCMP these days. Plenty are saying the system needs an overhaul. In fact there isn't a day goes by in the past year where there ISN'T a cop or several in the news for doing bad crap and half the time they're being blamed for MURDER!! I'm not blaming the good cops, I know they exist, but the system is broken and over run with dirtbags and assholes. There needs to be better Psych eval to weed out pigs
@viligeidiot I agree that there seems to be a increase of bad cops that is mostly because they aren't given to take classes on the constitution. But the G20 is no a good example of bad cops. I have watched enough video of it and the OWS stuff. I would never go done there because of the anarchist. They incite things and break things. Hell when the Lakers (or another team ) win a stupid championship there are cars that get smashed, windows of business that get broken into.
@viligeidiot It is mostly small groups that start it, but look at it from a cops perspective, here is a huge group of people and once something starts it gets out of hand real fast. They are also trying to keep civility in these situations. Down by me in Los Angeles when the riots happened the Police didn't do enough and I personally knew the last person who died from that. He was in a coma for 2 yrs. I think there is a difference between big city cops and small city cops. But the title of this
@viligeidiot Why all cops are bastards and that just isn't true. I have watched the video of the cop in ( I think Philly) and yes he was a ass whole for drawing his gun over snow balls. I agree that there seems to be more of an attitude (wether the cop had it before he was a cop or it came from his training) but I think we have to have a clearer head when dealing with them. My take is that there are more ass whole the cops have to deal with that also fuels this.
@pinghead105 Agreed the increase of ass holes on both sides is annoying to say the least. Back to the G20, the cops stood by when 'thugs' smashed things, burnt things, the cops even left a cruiser in the middle of the road to be burned not 20 feet from them and watched as the 'black bloc' stomped it and lit it! The NEXT day, they arrested everyone they could, boxed in innocent crowds, arrested a group of students as they woke up in a gym.. the list is LARGE and incredibly disturbing
@viligeidiot I personally believe it was instigated by the cops in the first place! They did it in Montreal and other places too. In the case of the G20, I think it was a test of the police force to see how they could handle crowds of dissenters, rioters or just in case there's an uprising. It's a weird coincidence that not to long later, people in cities around the world are rioting their ass off and I personally think our PM ordered it to happen to show off to the delegates of G20
@pinghead105 That's true, there are many examples of good cops. Some of them are friends of mine! They're military police, but police nonetheless. It's just that it's the bad ones we hear most about because they are the ones who do the most damage and disgrace their fellow officers. Unfortunately, the good cops are few and far between...
@typhon3808 That I would disagree, I think most cops are good and they just want to go home to there family at the end of there shift. I do agree that there is an increase if cops gone wrong. But then it is all perspective. If you lived in New York, Philly or Boston, in th 50"s, 60's heck even today you find bad dept. But if you live in small towns or smaller cities you might not.
@pinghead105 When I was a kid, my cousins lived in a small town and over half of the cops on the force there were drug dealers. We know that because many of them were dealing drugs to the high school kids where my cousins went and many of those cops were later exposed for their crimes. As a result, about half the force emptied over night and they had to transfer cops in from other cities around the state to fill those positions. Looking back, it was actually quite funny. LOL
@not2b8b4u Amen to that! They need to return to their original function as servants of the people, not politicians and big corporations. Like Michael C Rupert said way back in November 2001 (see the CD entitled "Truth and Lies of 9/11"), "There is war on and that war is against YOU." How right he seems to have been.
Can We note the sexual perversion in this pretentious S & M game? The military is no better. Think of it, making a profession out of belligerence. This is why cops are such lousy lovers, they have lost their empathy through the prosecution of this particular hard on. Unseemly in women We submit. The is molestation of each other, what else can We expect from them, wit? b Their King of Kings, Judge and friend too.No matter how twisted no matter how perverse,
power corrupts. there is no way arround this fact. also inanimate objects can assume no responsiblity for the actions of ppl using said object. thats like saying planes are bad mkay after 9/11.
The truth is that the police are now being trained by the military. They are being turned from being peace officers into soldiers. The battlefield? The continental US. The enemy? YOU, Mr Civilian...
@chuck9788 No we don't. The last thing we need are the local cops being trained to treat the average citizen as an enemy combatant. I know they are being trained by the US military because I know some people who have trained them. There is absolutely NO reason that civilian police forces should be trained in military tactics. NONE...
You'll see things quite differently when you are on the receiving end of it. I guarantee it!
@typhon3808 i agree the local citizen is nit the combatant. I disagree in nin military aproach. C'mon??...drug dealers, terrorists...complete slime is out there.
How should they be treated? How should they be stopped? By peace officers? I say DESTROY them with military style tactics.
@chuck9788 I disagree. Most of the time, the police do not have the intelligence, training, or common sense, to be able to discern the difference between the average citizen and the thugs you are speaking of. Also, should they be able to just "destroy" you or a loved one with military tactics if you are falsely accused or the victim of a mistaken identity arrest? Think about it. This shit happens ALL the time. I know of several recent cases in my own state. The power of the police must be
@typhon3808 I agree with you. I am against police when they fail to do their duty. But many brave policemen do good work and they shouldn't be put in the category that you mentioned.
Police are held accountable. They get sued quite often.
@youdamnoob Police officers don't get prosecuted? How about Stephanie Mohr the former Maryland police officer who just got released from federal prison after serving 8 1/2 years for police brutality??
@chuck9788 They get sued and the judge usually throws out the case because police have immunity. In my state, there have been so many cases (even recently) wherein people were murdered in cold blood (publicly) or were wrongfully arrested and imprisoned because of mistaken identity arrests. Charges are almost always dropped because of police immunity or Internal Affairs ruling it a "justifiable shooting." The police corruption's so bad here that we have come VERY close to full-scale uprisings
@chuck9788 all over the state in recent months because people are deciding they've finally had enough. There are SOME good cops, about maybe 1 in 100. The few good ones usually keep their mouths shut and turn a blind eye to the corruption because of fear of retaliation by their superiors or fellow police officers who are involved in the corruption. I know because I had TWO uncles who were in the police force who (after years of frustration) left the force because they couldn't handle the blatant
@chuck9788 criminality and evil they witnessed everyday. On top of that, they had to deal with the criminals who WEREN'T wearing a government issued uniform and badge. Like I said, most cops are little tin gods that violate the rights of the average citizen simply because they can. Most of them are nothing but cowards who wouldn't be so "brave" without their guns and buddies to back them up. Ask yourself that next time you see a cop violating someone's rights or beating on him or her.
@chuck9788 "Would that cop be so tough if he was by himself and didn't have a gun or tazer to use on this person?" Chances are the answer you will come up with is "no."
@typhon3808 Why do people assume they no someones answer?!?
Anyway, I agree with you, many cops are cowards and would get squashed if it wasn't for their weapons and badge. Just like you I LOL, when I see a little cop with an inferiority complex.
But. I disagree with your 1 in 100 "good cops" statistic. I believe its higher than that low ball number that you gave. Some cops do some great things, and I think those ones should be commended and not categorized in with the bad cops.
@chuck9788 I agree that the few good ones should be commended for the good they do. Unfortunately, the vast majority aren't good and the few who are good are (again unfortunately) lumped in with the bad ones. When the overwhelming majority are corrupt, it's difficult to know which one out of a 1000 is good. Even though there are a few good ones, I don't trust (and never will) a damn one of them. Even the good ones you've got to watch out for. They AREN'T your friends no matter what they say.
@chuck9788 My uncles are the ones who told me never to trust a cop and never talk to one or think he or she is your friend when it comes to down to it. I guess you could say my distrust comes from "insider information." LOL
@typhon3808 I hear ya. I have a good friend that used to be a cop. He quit after 2 years. One of the factors for leaving was that he did not personally like many of his co-workers who he felt were overbearing and going out of their way to make arrests.
I completely understand people not liking cops, but to categorize them as ALL bad is not fair.
@chuck9788 That's true, not ALL cops are bad. Just the majority of them. Unfortunately, the bad ones also make the good ones look bad in the eyes of the general public. It sounds like your friend got into police work to do good and help people but quickly found out the truth about how things really are. The truth is that, nowadays, cops are probably one of the biggest threats to the health and well-being of the average citizen. Even more so than your average street thug is. They have way too
@BallerSkier That's true about the brainwashing! Especially now that they are being trained by the USMC. Like I said, why do they need military training when they are not dealing with enemy combatants in a war but are instead dealing with "We the People" whom they were originally intended to serve and protect? Have the police and their corporate and political masters declared war on the American public? I think people REALLY need to think about this!
@typhon3808 Because "We the People" includes some sadistic people who do not value human life and would kill without blinking. If there weren't, there's be no need for a police force. In a battlefield, bad guys typically wear uniforms and you already know their objective. On the streets, someone can walk up smiling, then pull a weapon. Do officers walk around with guns drawn, of course not. Do they have to be trained to make a split-second decision, absolutely.
@chuck9788 much power as it is. That is why there is so much corruption in law enforcement now. It's human nature that the more unchecked power you have, the more corrupt in your use of that power you are likely to become.
@chuck9788 limited as much as possible. Otherwise, we live in a police state! Is that what you want? Not only should police powers be restricted to the bare minimum necessary as peace officers, they must be held to an even HIGHER standard of accountability for their actions as public servants. As it is, many of them think of themselves as little gods who can do whatever they want without consequences because they are being taught that by their military style training. Citizens are NOT the enemy!
FUCK THE SWAT TEAM FUCK THE POLICE FUCK THE GOVRNMENT FUCK THE PRESIDENTS FUCK THE ARMY FUCK THE MARINE FUCK AMERICA FUCK THE LAWS FUCK GOD FUCK JESUS FUCK DEVIL FUCK ALL RACE FUCK EARTH AND FUCK YOU.
The World ha's Nothing to Learn from You America.... We dont need You!!! One day You will be Erase from the World Map and the World can breathing again!!!
@castletriglav And I'm say again; The World ha's Nothing to Learn from You America.... We dont need You!!! One day You will be Erase from the World Map and the World can breathing again!!!
this Is America the great America hahahahahahahah !! What I'm see Is just pile of fascist. The Brain wash Machinery they learn by the SS. America Is (mug) !!!
@chuck9788 first ...Im a Women and second I'm give a shiit to Police. But cause we have such Idiots In this World so, the needs. And the Pussy are this kind that don't no how to articulate mai cause not enough School?
@chuck9788 The police are the last people I would call.Medical emergency? Call an ambulance. House on fire? Call the Fire Dept. Somebody breaking in? Grab a gun. No,I don't call the police for anything except to come and pick up asswipes I have found on my property. And that's just so I won't have to dig a hole. I have never known anyone who has said "thank God the police came and saved me and/or my family". So FUCK the POLICE and FUCK YOU CHUCK
Again,go fuck yourself chuck. You are not going to convince me that the majority of police are well meaning, kind hearted civil servants.I will agree that every now and then, you may run across a good cop,but they are few and far between.Guns are not bad, people are bad.It seems the worst, guys like you with inferiority complexes, small brains and smaller dicks, want to be cops.So keep talking tough keyboard commando, nobody here is impressed, least of all me.
@RussianAKWolf I have ZERO interest in becoming a police officer. I postes previoysly that their are bad cops out there, and that its wrong. But I disagree with your assessment that they are "few and far between". Bad people with guns is EXTREMELY BAD.
You told me to go fuck myself and I am really really hurt. j/k you amuse me.
@chuck9788 The police don't save anybody. They clean up the mess and collect evidence AFTER the crime has been committed. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away. That is, unless you're a cop, cop's relative, or cop's friend. You need to wake up...
The Sheeple cant see they have a MILITARIZED Police force. The Jews sure got around that problem in the constitution that says its illegal to use the military against it's own citizens. This is why one day the JEWS and their government nazi thugs will be REMOVED from THIS LAND..
@btrimarchi well, not neccessarily.. Ad hominem involves pointing out a non-truth. I simply stated that you were a fucking idiot. Ummmm,, thats the truth.
@SavageSS2010 - Again, the best you can do is call names. I'm real hurt and offended that a piece of shit cop (oh wait that's redundant) thinks I'm an idiot. You are a perfect example of the Dunning Kruger effect. Now go look that up like you did ad hominem and spend the rest of the night trying to convince yourself that you're not.
@btrimarchi LOL! Did I make you cry? Ok Im sorry. And noooo, didnt have to look up ad hominem . The only truth (aside from my BROTHER is a cop) is that without cops you would get assraped to death because who is gonna protect you from the gangs of armed criminals that would be running the streets?? YOU?? HAHAH Hell no,, youd be a dead motherfucking PUSSY, and that stankin ass wilderbeest you call your mother would get popped in the keester and wasted too. HAHA Did I mention GO FUCK YOURSELF?
@SavageSS2010 - Please!!! I've never called a cop and I never would. I've fucked several pigs up but never called one for help. If your brother is anything like you I hope someone puts a bullet in his pig head.
@btrimarchi HAHAHA yeah whatever you pussy. You talk big right now but when your little bitch ass is getting punked and your crying for someone to come help you I hope you remember this bullshit u wrote. On you I smell a little fag that didnt have what it took to be a cop or soldier or anything remotely important. So do us all a favor you pussy ass bitch and climb back up in your mothers twat where your safe and let the men have a conversation,,mmmm K?.....
@btrimarchi DUDE, ALL KIDDING ASIDE, YOUR CHANNEL IS HOUR AFTER HOUR OF YOU POSTING "COPS ARE CRIMINALS" ON VARIOUS UTUBE VIDEOS. WTF? IM GONNA JUST BE A DECENT HUMAN AT THIS POINT AND TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED SOME HELP,OBVIOUSLY THERES SOMETHING WRONG, YOUR CHANNEL PROVES THAT AND I SERIOUSLY HOPE YOU GET THE HELP YOU NEED. IM ALMOST SORRY I SAID ALL THAT STUFF TO YOU EARLIER AFTER SEEING YOUR CHANNEL, REALLY BRO, I DO HOPE YOU SEEK OUT SOME HELP, THAT SHIT YOUR DOIN IS NOT NORMAL OR HEALTHY.
Actually no. I wish all cops had military service. Cops are given alot of power. They need to know what it feels like to get dogged. I think training like that is a good thing. Military background would be better because of the oath to constitution.
People this is "reality" TV. It's not at all based on real police training. Violent encounters and arrests actually make up a very small percentage of police engagements. Most of their duties relate to paper work, traffic work, disseminating information, and responding to usually non-violent calls.
So is that why all soldiers are sociopaths too? Guys this is just training and for the most part not the kind of training cops get anymore. The stress training has been found to be counter productive for police work where problem solving and individual decision making is the norm. Saying this makes cops bastards is like saying all military people that go through boot are insane....
THERE ARE TONS AND I MEAN TONS OF JEW PIGS IN POLICE AGENCIES AND THEY HAVE CAUSED COPS TO TREAT AMERICANS THE SAME WAY THE JEW PIGS TREAT ARABS/PALESTINIANS . THAT IS WHY THE COPS ARE SUCH LOW LIFES THESE DAYS.
COPS WERE TRAINED BY JEWS IN POLICE AGENCIES WITH DUAL CITIZENSHIPS IN ISRAEL TO TREAT AMERICANS LIKE DIRT.
Laughable !!! These are the same drill sgts who then go home & beat their wives - kids and return to work! They don't even treat trainies like this in our Military anymore.. The emphisis is on Building through Corrective Positive Training - Not berating and screaming! Semper fi!
@valdie91285 With Respect - I have been through this & I can assure you what You Witnessed is exactly what goes on for those trainies! It is100% consistant harrassment although some STATES training meathods vary. Yes there is what is called Human Interaction training such as Communication & Crowed Control Tactics but for many who Graduate from their States Police Accademy - Many are Shell Schocked and require OTJ
( On The Job ) Retraining by their Local Police Departments!
@sptsoffl I understand how this type of exposure produces overly-aggressive cops. So I guess the question is how to train cops to be tough enough to handle the stress of the job while at the same time teaching them to be humble.
you are VERY WRONG BY STATING THIS. No I am not a police officer but when my Daughter Kristen Charbonneau was murdered in texas the Euless Police and others put up with my going crazy and calling them some of the worst things because I was a terrified Father. who wanted revenge against Daniel Glenn Moore of Arlinton Tx. If it were not and still not for them he would be dead right now and i would have killed myself. SO STOP SAYING THEY ARE ALL BAD. SOME ARE MOST ARE NOT.... David Charbonneau.
police have become to militarized. attackdogs not watchdogs. US was nvr meant to hve soldiers on the strts, we hve them. police view all situations as hostile no matter who is on the other end (young, old, disabled, etc). their daily tactics are certainly questionable/cruel at most times. i blame no accountability, corrupt police union w/ paid lawyers, and taxpayer funded settlement chks. i for one hve bn a vic of "police boredom," my wife bn sexual harassed. complaints do nothing, i hve no union.
being screamed at by someone with the authority to derail your career is a test of ability to remain cool under pressure. People who lose their temper here wash out before they lose their temper and beat a civilian. This is exactly how it should be. If anything, police training should be tougher
@flythegadsden2012 you actually believe yourself? noooo, the cops aren't beating civilians.that never happens.yeah right. this sort of training takes monsters and turns them into bigger monsters. remain cool under pressure my ass.
only abnormal people would be eager or willing to undergo this sort of thing. it's how they weed out the normal or misguided well intentioned people and are left with authoritarian order taking robot sociopaths.
@demerc So everyone in Law Enforcement Agencies are all filled with bad intentions and are robot sociopaths? You know the military undergoes training and discipline very similar to this. Are they all filled with bad intentions and robot sociopaths too? Because I thought these brave men and women volunteered to protect worthless pieces of subhuman shit such as yourself... But maybe you're right, without these robot sociopaths you probably wouldn't be enjoying your 1st Amendment right now.
@RangerDanger117 I was gonna make the point that I mentioned that there are some misguided, well intentioned people who, since not all police academies are like this, will slip through the cracks. Then i was gonna mention how soldiers who fight senseless wars over oil, politics and agendas of multibillion dollar weapons industries have to be either mislead about what they're fighting for or sociopaths who just like to kill. But then I just looked at your comments on your channel. I rest my case.

You have a better way to train for that, I'm all ears.
lastblueline 5 days ago
@lastblueline There are PLENTY of ways to create stress inoculation WITHOUT demoralization you ass! This is MILITARY tactics to dehumanize cops not make them understanding people with decision making capabilities. It's whole goal is to make human robots that react, obey 'authority' and follow the 'rules' without question rather than attempting to make any kind of judgement call, no matter how small, on how to proceed with a situation.
viligeidiot 4 days ago
@lastblueline Yeah last I have an idea on how to improve their training, teach them the CONSTITUTION, I know that police are trained to threaten, harass, and intimidate civilians into cooperating with them so that the person in question is so psychologically terrified his last thought is about whether his rights are being violated, he (or she) just wants the encounter to be over and is willing to do just about anything and give up any right to please his aggressor (the cop)
Appollyion 4 days ago
@Appollyion This is the absolute truth. It's one of the many reasons TWO of my uncles quit being police officers back in the '90s. They couldn't stand it anymore even back then. From what I understand, with the way things are now, it's way worse than it was even back in the '90s. The good ones seem to either quit in frustration, or become corrupted themselves because they just give up trying to do the right thing.
typhon3808 4 days ago
@lastblueline Yep you probably guessed it if you were a part of law enforcement of any type in your past I was a law enforcement officer, and it was witnessing constant violations of a given person's rights and watching people crumble psychologically under the bellowing voice of a fellow officer that caused me to quit, I was disgusted with many of my fellow officers and refused to participate in or help an organization of hired thugs. I wanted to be a cop to protect not to harm.
Appollyion 4 days ago
@Appollyion you and I both know (if you were in fact trained in any kind of law enforcement) that we are taught to lie to a suspect and to try and break them psychologically into confessing a crime, we are not trained to protect their civil liberties, leave that to the lawyers was a favorite saying in my academy, anyway I can go on and on but whatever man you keep on thinkin what you want and saying what you want cause the REAL hero's go on a battlefield to ensure you have that RIGHT
Appollyion 4 days ago
@Appollyion You damn right the cops are trained to lie! I've personally experienced this and seen it happen to others as well. Especially when (nowadays) they try to bully people by telling them that they will arrest and charge them with a felony for video recording them. I've seen cops flat-out lie to people all the time. Oh yeah, my favorite one? When they tell you, "Just cooperate and we'll help you out." or "We'll go easy on you and cut you a deal etc." I even see this all the time on
typhon3808 4 days ago
@Appollyion "First 48" on cable TV when they are interrogating (excuse me "interviewing") suspects. I always end up sitting there yelling at the TV "Keep your mouth shut and demand an attorney!" Of course, they never do. Even when they are told (because the cops are required to when arresting somebody) that the yhave a "right to remain silent." Another favorite lie of mine is "We just want to help you." BULLSHIT. The cops aren't there to help you. They are there to collect evidence and charge
typhon3808 4 days ago
@Appollyion you with a crime! That's what they are supposed to do.
typhon3808 4 days ago
This is NOT how you train people to protect the public!! This is how you train killers who only know how to follow orders and behave as arrogantly and violent as possible unless a superior is present!! This is creating BEYOND a police state, you are being 'protected' by psychopaths led by superiors who have no compassion and no brains beyond what a very, VERY small group of leaders TELL them to think and do. These 'cops' think everyone around them is trying to KILL THEM!! IN-FUKCING-SANE!!
viligeidiot 5 days ago
@viligeidiot Spoken like someone who has never served or sacrificed anything. You have no idea what it takes to run into gunfire to save lives. If you can't handle someone screaming at you, how can you make the right decisions under stress?

@viligeidiot The USMC is trained this way because they MUST be in order to be an effective fighting force against foreign enemies. However, the police are NOT the USMC and never were intended to be! Their functions are completely different. And we wonder why moist cops are egotistical assholes who more and more engage in brutality and civil rights violations against the people they were originally intended to serve. SMH...

@viligeidiot Who is Canada's Prime Minister right now? I think I'm going to do some research about Canadian government etc just to see how it is structured and all that. Is Canada still subject to the British Crown? I've heard some say "yes" and some say "no."
typhon3808 3 days ago
@typhon3808 Our current P.M. is Stephen Harper. No, we haven't been subject to the British crown for some time, can't remember the date but it's why we celebrate 'Canada day'. We DO however still pay the crown a sort of 'tax' every year which a lot of people are disgusted with. BTW, very recently, the conservatives (Harper's gov't party) is in deep shit for apparently trying to 'fix' the last election by having 'robocalls' call voters and misdirect them to polls that didn't exist!
viligeidiot 3 days ago
@viligeidiot I always wondered what "Canada Day" was all about. Kind of like our "Independence Day" on the Fourth of July. Maybe some people think Canada is still subject to the Crown because you pay a tax to them. My question is, if Canada is independent of the Crown, why pay them tribute? I'd tell them to stuff it in their tea and crumpets! As for the Conservatives doing that, sound like the Republican Party here in the USA. LOL
typhon3808 3 days ago
@typhon3808 I agree about the tribute but it was part of the agreement for independance and still exists to keep trade and political ties smooth. Bloody Brits still treat us like shit when they visit on holiday like they still own us though. All the other UK residents (Irish, Scots etc.) are extremely cool tho....
viligeidiot 3 days ago
@viligeidiot That kind of makes sense (to keep trade and political ties smooth). When I went to the UK about 5 years ago, I found that the British people were quite nice and I had no problems whatsoever. Maybe their feelings towards Canadians are different than towards US citizens. I don't know though.
typhon3808 2 days ago
@typhon3808 I didn't mean to lump in ALL Brit's, it's usually just the well off snooty ones that treat us like shit, even some of the upper middle class... but the regular folk (pretty easy to tell the diff) are great. Even had a few offer to put me up at their place if I ever went over. ;-) .. I mainly know the rich from waitering in 'exclusive' restaurants and high profile security gigs I had.

pinghead105 3 days ago
@pinghead105 Were talking about cops but my comparison of how bad they are up here got typhon3808 asking questions about things up here.
viligeidiot 3 days ago
@viligeidiot there has to be a certain degree of the same training, with gangs and all. The gangs are no different than terrorist to me. Cops have to deal with the crap of society. That doesn't mean that they can treat everyone like crap, but after a while that happens sometimes. I know a lot of cops and they aren't ass wholes. The questions we should ask is are cops egotistical because of there training or were they egotistical before they became cops.
pinghead105 3 days ago
@viligeidiot I think you are painting them with a very broad brush. I do agree that the Departments are creating this situation by the lack of Constitutional emphasis but that is coming from the elected officials that have appointed them. I think you can point to certain examples to bad cops but to paint all cops that way isn't fair. Should I conclude that all Canadians a ass wholes because I have come across a small percentage that are. I think not. There are many examples of good cops.
pinghead105 3 days ago
@pinghead105 Look, I know a few cops, have FRIENDS that are cops, but there is something inherently wrong with the system because there are more BAD cops out there than ever! Check the G20 films of Toronto, I witnessed that crap LIVE and it's only one weekend of cops behaviour. I'm a law abiding citizen and have had several run ins with them to the point I don't trust them PERIOD! Hell, I got the crap beat out of me over a SNOWBALL! I didn't even hit the cop!!
viligeidiot 2 days ago
@viligeidiot There's something in Toronto called 'The Cherry Beach Express' and it's not extremely well known, but essentially the 'beach' is a very large abandoned industrial area along the waterfront where cops take people (bad and good), kick the living shit out of them and then just leave them there to crawl home. There is no recourse here if the cops do something wrong... cop smacks up your car? rips you off? beats you up? anything, who investigates? MORE COPS!
viligeidiot 2 days ago
@viligeidiot It's hardly just me... a LOT of people are fed up with the cops and the RCMP these days. Plenty are saying the system needs an overhaul. In fact there isn't a day goes by in the past year where there ISN'T a cop or several in the news for doing bad crap and half the time they're being blamed for MURDER!! I'm not blaming the good cops, I know they exist, but the system is broken and over run with dirtbags and assholes. There needs to be better Psych eval to weed out pigs

@viligeidiot Your 100% correct on your points!

Hell when the Lakers (or another team ) win a stupid championship there are cars that get smashed, windows of business that get broken into.
pinghead105 2 days ago
@viligeidiot It is mostly small groups that start it, but look at it from a cops perspective, here is a huge group of people and once something starts it gets out of hand real fast. They are also trying to keep civility in these situations. Down by me in Los Angeles when the riots happened the Police didn't do enough and I personally knew the last person who died from that. He was in a coma for 2 yrs. I think there is a difference between big city cops and small city cops. But the title of this
pinghead105 2 days ago
@viligeidiot Why all cops are bastards and that just isn't true. I have watched the video of the cop in ( I think Philly) and yes he was a ass whole for drawing his gun over snow balls. I agree that there seems to be more of an attitude (wether the cop had it before he was a cop or it came from his training) but I think we have to have a clearer head when dealing with them. My take is that there are more ass whole the cops have to deal with that also fuels this.
pinghead105 2 days ago
@viligeidiot Look at the increase in car chases and such. There are at least as many ass whole cops as ass whole people inciting them.
pinghead105 2 days ago
@pinghead105 Agreed the increase of ass holes on both sides is annoying to say the least. Back to the G20, the cops stood by when 'thugs' smashed things, burnt things, the cops even left a cruiser in the middle of the road to be burned not 20 feet from them and watched as the 'black bloc' stomped it and lit it! The NEXT day, they arrested everyone they could, boxed in innocent crowds, arrested a group of students as they woke up in a gym.. the list is LARGE and incredibly disturbing
viligeidiot 2 days ago
@viligeidiot I personally believe it was instigated by the cops in the first place! They did it in Montreal and other places too. In the case of the G20, I think it was a test of the police force to see how they could handle crowds of dissenters, rioters or just in case there's an uprising. It's a weird coincidence that not to long later, people in cities around the world are rioting their ass off and I personally think our PM ordered it to happen to show off to the delegates of G20
viligeidiot 2 days ago
@pinghead105 That's true, there are many examples of good cops. Some of them are friends of mine! They're military police, but police nonetheless. It's just that it's the bad ones we hear most about because they are the ones who do the most damage and disgrace their fellow officers. Unfortunately, the good cops are few and far between...
typhon3808 2 days ago
@typhon3808 That I would disagree, I think most cops are good and they just want to go home to there family at the end of there shift. I do agree that there is an increase if cops gone wrong. But then it is all perspective. If you lived in New York, Philly or Boston, in th 50"s, 60's heck even today you find bad dept. But if you live in small towns or smaller cities you might not.
pinghead105 2 days ago
@pinghead105 When I was a kid, my cousins lived in a small town and over half of the cops on the force there were drug dealers. We know that because many of them were dealing drugs to the high school kids where my cousins went and many of those cops were later exposed for their crimes. As a result, about half the force emptied over night and they had to transfer cops in from other cities around the state to fill those positions. Looking back, it was actually quite funny. LOL
typhon3808 1 day ago
@pinghead105 I forgot to mention that those positions were vacated because those officers ended up going to prison.

The truth is that the police are now being trained by the military. They are being turned from being peace officers into soldiers. The battlefield? The continental US. The enemy? YOU, Mr Civilian...
typhon3808 1 week ago
@typhon3808 We need "soldiers" to combat the criminal element and terrorism that currently exists in the USA.
chuck9788 1 week ago
@chuck9788 No we don't. The last thing we need are the local cops being trained to treat the average citizen as an enemy combatant. I know they are being trained by the US military because I know some people who have trained them. There is absolutely NO reason that civilian police forces should be trained in military tactics. NONE...
You'll see things quite differently when you are on the receiving end of it. I guarantee it!

typhon3808 6 days ago
@chuck9788 I disagree. Most of the time, the police do not have the intelligence, training, or common sense, to be able to discern the difference between the average citizen and the thugs you are speaking of. Also, should they be able to just "destroy" you or a loved one with military tactics if you are falsely accused or the victim of a mistaken identity arrest? Think about it. This shit happens ALL the time. I know of several recent cases in my own state. The power of the police must be
typhon3808 6 days ago
@typhon3808 I agree with you. I am against police when they fail to do their duty. But many brave policemen do good work and they shouldn't be put in the category that you mentioned.
Police are held accountable. They get sued quite often.
chuck9788 6 days ago

youdamnoob 6 days ago
@youdamnoob Police officers don't get prosecuted? How about Stephanie Mohr the former Maryland police officer who just got released from federal prison after serving 8 1/2 years for police brutality??
chuck9788 6 days ago
@chuck9788 They get sued and the judge usually throws out the case because police have immunity. In my state, there have been so many cases (even recently) wherein people were murdered in cold blood (publicly) or were wrongfully arrested and imprisoned because of mistaken identity arrests. Charges are almost always dropped because of police immunity or Internal Affairs ruling it a "justifiable shooting." The police corruption's so bad here that we have come VERY close to full-scale uprisings
typhon3808 6 days ago
@chuck9788 all over the state in recent months because people are deciding they've finally had enough. There are SOME good cops, about maybe 1 in 100. The few good ones usually keep their mouths shut and turn a blind eye to the corruption because of fear of retaliation by their superiors or fellow police officers who are involved in the corruption. I know because I had TWO uncles who were in the police force who (after years of frustration) left the force because they couldn't handle the blatant
typhon3808 6 days ago
@chuck9788 criminality and evil they witnessed everyday. On top of that, they had to deal with the criminals who WEREN'T wearing a government issued uniform and badge. Like I said, most cops are little tin gods that violate the rights of the average citizen simply because they can. Most of them are nothing but cowards who wouldn't be so "brave" without their guns and buddies to back them up. Ask yourself that next time you see a cop violating someone's rights or beating on him or her.
typhon3808 6 days ago
@chuck9788 "Would that cop be so tough if he was by himself and didn't have a gun or tazer to use on this person?" Chances are the answer you will come up with is "no."
typhon3808 6 days ago
@typhon3808 Why do people assume they no someones answer?!?
Anyway, I agree with you, many cops are cowards and would get squashed if it wasn't for their weapons and badge. Just like you I LOL, when I see a little cop with an inferiority complex.
But. I disagree with your 1 in 100 "good cops" statistic. I believe its higher than that low ball number that you gave. Some cops do some great things, and I think those ones should be commended and not categorized in with the bad cops.
chuck9788 6 days ago
@chuck9788 I agree that the few good ones should be commended for the good they do. Unfortunately, the vast majority aren't good and the few who are good are (again unfortunately) lumped in with the bad ones. When the overwhelming majority are corrupt, it's difficult to know which one out of a 1000 is good. Even though there are a few good ones, I don't trust (and never will) a damn one of them. Even the good ones you've got to watch out for. They AREN'T your friends no matter what they say.
typhon3808 6 days ago
@chuck9788 My uncles are the ones who told me never to trust a cop and never talk to one or think he or she is your friend when it comes to down to it. I guess you could say my distrust comes from "insider information." LOL
typhon3808 6 days ago
@typhon3808 I hear ya. I have a good friend that used to be a cop. He quit after 2 years. One of the factors for leaving was that he did not personally like many of his co-workers who he felt were overbearing and going out of their way to make arrests.
I completely understand people not liking cops, but to categorize them as ALL bad is not fair.
chuck9788 6 days ago
@chuck9788 That's true, not ALL cops are bad. Just the majority of them. Unfortunately, the bad ones also make the good ones look bad in the eyes of the general public. It sounds like your friend got into police work to do good and help people but quickly found out the truth about how things really are. The truth is that, nowadays, cops are probably one of the biggest threats to the health and well-being of the average citizen. Even more so than your average street thug is. They have way too
typhon3808 6 days ago
@typhon3808 why do you think that is because they follow like sheeps they cant think for themselves , same brainwashing as some religions
BallerSkier 5 days ago
@BallerSkier That's true about the brainwashing! Especially now that they are being trained by the USMC. Like I said, why do they need military training when they are not dealing with enemy combatants in a war but are instead dealing with "We the People" whom they were originally intended to serve and protect? Have the police and their corporate and political masters declared war on the American public? I think people REALLY need to think about this!
typhon3808 5 days ago
@typhon3808 Because "We the People" includes some sadistic people who do not value human life and would kill without blinking. If there weren't, there's be no need for a police force. In a battlefield, bad guys typically wear uniforms and you already know their objective. On the streets, someone can walk up smiling, then pull a weapon. Do officers walk around with guns drawn, of course not. Do they have to be trained to make a split-second decision, absolutely.

typhon3808 6 days ago
@chuck9788 limited as much as possible. Otherwise, we live in a police state! Is that what you want? Not only should police powers be restricted to the bare minimum necessary as peace officers, they must be held to an even HIGHER standard of accountability for their actions as public servants. As it is, many of them think of themselves as little gods who can do whatever they want without consequences because they are being taught that by their military style training. Citizens are NOT the enemy!

@RussianAKWolf Until you need them. Then you're like....... "thank God the police came and saved me and/or my family".
chuck9788 1 week ago
@chuck9788 The police are the last people I would call.Medical emergency? Call an ambulance. House on fire? Call the Fire Dept. Somebody breaking in? Grab a gun. No,I don't call the police for anything except to come and pick up asswipes I have found on my property. And that's just so I won't have to dig a hole. I have never known anyone who has said "thank God the police came and saved me and/or my family". So FUCK the POLICE and FUCK YOU CHUCK
RussianAKWolf 1 week ago
@RussianAKWolf Today there was a school shooting in Ohio. Who responded and arrested the perp.......the police.
C'mon, I agree, there are bad policemen out there, but there are also very good policemen to. To say that ALL police are bad is just plain ignorant.
Guns are bad. Although I can understand you NEEDING one because you are so soft and weak. Personally, I prefer to smash people like you with my fists.
chuck9788 6 days ago
@chuck9788
RussianAKWolf 6 days ago
@RussianAKWolf I have ZERO interest in becoming a police officer. I postes previoysly that their are bad cops out there, and that its wrong. But I disagree with your assessment that they are "few and far between". Bad people with guns is EXTREMELY BAD.
You told me to go fuck myself and I am really really hurt. j/k you amuse me.
chuck9788 6 days ago
@chuck9788 The police don't save anybody. They clean up the mess and collect evidence AFTER the crime has been committed. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away. That is, unless you're a cop, cop's relative, or cop's friend. You need to wake up...

@btrimarchi well, not neccessarily.. Ad hominem involves pointing out a non-truth. I simply stated that you were a fucking idiot. Ummmm,, thats the truth.
SavageSS2010 1 week ago
@SavageSS2010 - Again, the best you can do is call names. I'm real hurt and offended that a piece of shit cop (oh wait that's redundant) thinks I'm an idiot. You are a perfect example of the Dunning Kruger effect. Now go look that up like you did ad hominem and spend the rest of the night trying to convince yourself that you're not.
btrimarchi 1 week ago
@btrimarchi LOL! Did I make you cry? Ok Im sorry. And noooo, didnt have to look up ad hominem . The only truth (aside from my BROTHER is a cop) is that without cops you would get assraped to death because who is gonna protect you from the gangs of armed criminals that would be running the streets?? YOU?? HAHAH Hell no,, youd be a dead motherfucking PUSSY, and that stankin ass wilderbeest you call your mother would get popped in the keester and wasted too. HAHA Did I mention GO FUCK YOURSELF?
SavageSS2010 1 week ago
@SavageSS2010 - Please!!! I've never called a cop and I never would. I've fucked several pigs up but never called one for help. If your brother is anything like you I hope someone puts a bullet in his pig head.

RogueSphereMedia 1 week ago

Semper fi!

@sptsoffl The video isn't even a minute long, I'm sure there's alot more to their training.
valdie91285 1 week ago
@valdie91285 With Respect - I have been through this & I can assure you what You Witnessed is exactly what goes on for those trainies! It is100% consistant harrassment although some STATES training meathods vary. Yes there is what is called Human Interaction training such as Communication & Crowed Control Tactics but for many who Graduate from their States Police Accademy - Many are Shell Schocked and require OTJ
( On The Job ) Retraining by their Local Police Departments!
sptsoffl 1 week ago

If anything, police training should be tougher
flythegadsden2012 2 weeks ago
@flythegadsden2012 you actually believe yourself? noooo, the cops aren't beating civilians.that never happens.yeah right. this sort of training takes monsters and turns them into bigger monsters. remain cool under pressure my ass.

RangerDanger117 1 week ago
@RangerDanger117 I was gonna make the point that I mentioned that there are some misguided, well intentioned people who, since not all police academies are like this, will slip through the cracks. Then i was gonna mention how soldiers who fight senseless wars over oil, politics and agendas of multibillion dollar weapons industries have to be either mislead about what they're fighting for or sociopaths who just like to kill. But then I just looked at your comments on your channel. I rest my case.
