I believe Joe has done exactly what he wanted and greated a sound all his on by incorperating techniques of all his favorites. Beck Vaughan Claapton Gatton and so on. And he still getting better his music is more soulfull than ever now.
joe was miiiillles better when he was a nipper. now he just sounds mediocre and boring. i think he is now far too influenced by eric johnson. eric rules, but joe just seems to be full of other player's techniques.
Have you actually seen Joe live? What are you basing your idiodic comments on? Joe has grown incredibly as a player. He plays better now than ever. Get a clue.
fair play, one man's junk is another man's gold and all that..... I just find the novelty of him being so young made his playing more interesting. did you know he gave up guitar for 2 years in his early twenties because he randomly lost all the speed in his fingers one day?? major kudos to him for re-learning and getting it all back. I just don't enjoy his more recent stuff. peace out.
I KEEP COMING BACK to the BLOODLINE videos...this was a very tight group..excellent groove. Why did they break up??? Joe was a better player at 18 then currently.,..he needs a bigger band..get an organ and two drummers. Add some elizabethan rock riffs with the blues.
This should've been a huge hit!!!!! Yours in music, DebFromMaine

Kreiger seems a bit conceited to me...oh well, who am i to judge? Did Bonamassa's band mates ever do much of anything else?

he still plays quite a bit. He sat in with the Allman Brothers a couple week ago in March and recently with Dickey Betts. He does his thing.
