At this point, Diana has recorded a 5 song demo album with John to shop around Nashville for a label to sign with and that is where the progress of this album is. She for sure has 11 new country songs that I have heard and they all are very good. The next step Diana must accomplish is to get signed to a record label and that has not been done yet so a date on this album cant even be guessed.

Yes I was there at the finale and I filmed this with my no good video camera that I will not use again LOL Sorry about the quality. I have a hard time believing CMT did not leave room on their network to air the finale 2 hours. Each one of them deserved to have their entire performance aired. John himself performed 3 songs! Diana should have won but she will release RBWWE and John was the producer of the studio recording of it. Diana has also signed to John's production company too.

IMO Vocally Diana is par with Carrie and there has not been anyone superior to them coming from AI. I am no Fantasia fan but she has her niche in R&B and she has her fans but vocally she can't hold a candle to Diana. Also, the same goes for the others on this GC. Diana blows them all way and she is incredible with this song. I can't wait to hear it on TV and the studio version.

Diana!!!! I really hope she wins. I wanted Diana to win AI3, and her debut album bombed although I think her album had gems that could have been huge hits in pop radio, like Cardboard Castles and Go On And Cry. I used to be sooo addicted to Diana during AI3, and I'm so glad that she's headed towards country music, because I am a big fan of country music. I'm so excited to hear a studio version of this song!!!

That girl can sing! After watching episode #2 of GC and this she has to be the favorite to win you'd think. She got ripped off on AI because the judges infatuation with Fantasia (where is she now? LOL) but everyone knows this girl has the better talent. Maybe country music is what she needed to jump start her career.

To answer your question, Fantasia sold 2.5 million albums, not to mention the millions of tickets she had sold due to her Broadway, has solf over 6.5 million PRETICKETS for the show, nominated for seven Grammys, continues to rule over the R&B charts when she gets a single out.

If you like Diana more, than fine. I like Fantasia better, but I respect Diana and will not stoop so low to bash her. Why would you?

The 7 try to impress John Rich because he alone picks the winner that will have the song they wrote produced by him, released to radio as a single and have it made into a video and shown on CMT. There is no leak on who won, but an AJC article says Diana is recording a Country album in Nashville. Let your imagination run wild as to why she is now recording.

Second, this is a pro Diana crowd, and most there in that audience do believe she should have won AI3. Fantasia fans always seem to take this one comment that "Diana should have won" as fighting words. Fantasia fans need to get over the fact that Diana fans think she should have won. That thought is not going to change, so get over it. Diana should have won!
