  • yeah, MarciusSim is right, but you also have to look at the back-end reaction of the ball because that will play into the hook factor too.

  • lets say a bowling ball has an 130 hook potential and another bowling ball has 140 hook potential.... will the bowling ball with the 140 hook potential hook more naturally or does it all depend on how much wrist action u put on the ball etc. ??

  • Generally balls with higher hook potential will hook more than those with lower hook potential if both are given the same type of release and 'wrist action'.

  • @kid1424654844 if you throw them the same the 140 should hook more
