  • Very melancoly, but still a great tune; one of my favorite ballads from that time period. Too bad most folks can't separate the Tops from their 60s heyday to appreciate this ballad.

  • thank you thank you for this from the bottom of my heart

  • ive always loved this song. its my favourite four tops song of all time

  • this was a copy of earl klugh's .....good job though i love both version's..

  • I must say I have never heard this song before. Just beautiful. Levi had such a magnificent voice.

  • Pure magic! Mr Stubbs at his mellow best. Thanks for posting!

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeeee this song it's a christmasy feel and a sound you'd hear while in the mall with those strings. absolute perfection!!!!!!!!

  • Absolutely Beautiful !

  • Thanks for posting this!

This is one of my wife and mine 'special' songs,I had it on the B side of a 45 when we first started going out together many years ago! haha.

This is the first time I have found it on the net,I will play it to her later and I may even get lucky tonight lol

  • lol

  • Just superb!

  • Yes It Is !

  • love it love it love it. has a little christmassy feel. makes me feel i'm in the mall at christmas. beautiful song. i'm glad i have it.

  • this should've been a hit. it was only a b-side. this happened constantly in their career. people should've spoke up and said this is a hit. there is alot of songs on their albums that should've been hits.

  • You're so right ! I keep saying the Tops' ballads and mid-tempo songs were their

best. However, the record companies chose the up-tempo songs to stay commercial. Example: " I Believe in You and Me" was the B side to "Sad Hearts"

  • @MrLevistubbs ,you're right, there were probably alot of tough decisions, but when you hear the hits its understandable why they were released, they could've released 80% of the songs on the album, but then people wouldnt buy the album. The Tops and Tempts albums are like greatest hits compilations

  • This recording shows Levi could have sung opera. Such clarity and power. His voice was truly second to none.

  • The Lost and Found double CD has a song on it named " Old Fashon Man" you talkin' about an Opera sounding voice. Like Duke said," Levi's voice could take

you anywhere." From the first time I heard

him and the Tops in 1964 I knew they would be something special !
