Nice video - The Matsuura Cublex, which I assume is a competitor product for this, has numerous palletised systems as options - are the NTs optimised for automation / unmanned running like the Matsuura?
The NT and the Cublex are very different machines. The NT would require a 6-axis robot to perform similar unmanned operations. However, because it's a lathe at heart, it has all the benefits of a multi-turret subspindle lathe. Faster turning, higher spindle RPM, much larger Z-axis turning capacity, and part transfer for 6-sided machining.

The Mori Seike NT is a lathe with milling capabilities. Matsuura CUBLEX is a milling centre with lathe capabilities. It can't be compared.

I run a NT4300 with a gantry loader.. it runs all the weekend on its own..
makes a lot of chips!!
