I jumped at the chance to purchase a vci 100 se. When I got your email about new in stock, I sold my vci I'd bought 3 weeks earlier. While waiting I watched these walkthroughs 1,000 times. My se shows up and it has a totally different layout. If you could do an updated video walkthrough it would be very helpful, and save me time figuring it out by myself. Oh and there is a big dent in the corner of my se and it does'nt sit flat on a table without wobbling not a big deal thought you should know

i want to get a black vestax vci just to match my laptop, on dj store, where i'm going to purchase it's got a black vci 100 but says it has 1.2 firmware, is this not the se edition or is it simply just the normal vci 100 but coloured black, if anyone can answer would be appreciated

only dj techtools sells the SE controller, which has the 1.3 firmware and the SE overlays. Every other VCi-100 has the 1.2 firmware and standard plates.

Is the SE a black version of the VCI 100 with your black overlay and TSI file?

the original SE was made in japan but yes, the new version we are selling is a japanese vci with overlays, 1.3 firmware and the TSi file.

Yes- you could control serato with this. Its a standard midi controller.
