@RonWust Actually he just sang it... who made the song was Petrucci, portnoy and maybe some stuffs of Myung... Even the vocal melody was made by them...
They just came to LaBrie and said "Sing this, like THIS" and he did what he was told to do...
Most of songs of DT was made by this way... when you see the writing sections of DT you never see LaBrie...
What he uses to do is ask for a change of notes in some parts because he think is better for him... but most of times he have no connection

And yeah, he have trouble.. afterall, he passed 35 years singing the highest human chest notes, no wonder that he has lost some reach in nowadays.
