Signatures aren't worth the ink they're printed with. MONEY is what would bring Concorde back. THAT'S what you'd need to be collecting, by a magnitude of hundreds of millions, to get her back

And good luck with that, because there isn't an investor on Earth who'd sink cash into a project like that where they're not likely to see a return on it. How do I know? Because BA+Captain Bannister ALREADY TRIED to find them, and they weren't there

Great tribute to the Queen of the Skies. Beautiful lines, and the roar of it's 4 afterburning engines must've been just like music... No aircraft can possibly have the same looks, those of elegance, and those of speed. Only the BAC/Aérospatiale Concorde can attain such beauty. It's a shame that it isn't up there, in the blue skies, where it belongs...

@Razgriz100000 I'm not holding my breath at all on that one - it would be sweet, but the cost to test and re-fly one after almost 8 years with no support from Airbus is almost impossible. AF and BA wouldn't even keep one around at it's retirement for cost reasons, which was the best time to do it. I respect people's opinions, I just don't see it.

No, there isn't.

The CoA is revoked. Parts/Spares have been sold off at auction. Airbus has discontinued mtx support. Several companies that make highly-specific products for Concorde (e.g., her specialized hydraulic fluid that no other aircraft used) no longer make them. And only one ship (F-BTSD) still has a working electronics/hydraulics system, and the French have already said they won't fly her.

Face it, she's not coming back. May she rest peacefully.

@coool121212 Because Concorde landed and took off at an angle of between 15-20 degrees you can imagine that the nose of the plane gets in the line of sight so for taxiing and upon takeoff her nose would be lowered to 5 degrees and upon landing they would lower the nose up to 15 degrees to make sure the pilots could see the runway....so simple yet so brilliant

There's an Air France Concorde at The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles International Airport. I intend to make a trip down there next year. Everyone who built and flew this incredible airliner should be very PROUD of their achievements!

@PlaneAndTVtechfan I know right, but hey, she served for 27 years with only minor updates and stuff, I mean most planes after like 15 years they're replaced by updated models like 747-100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / SP / 800. The concordes were all original and i think that had somthing to do with their retirement but hey, at least the french got their heads out of their asses and are going to get her flying again...Check out the link in the description

I flew Concorde when I was a kid. I still remember the take off into the sky with a smile from ear to ear like a kid on Christmas morning. I remember when we were at mach 2, flying on the edge of space entering the stratosphere seeing the sky go dark. It is 2010, time to bring back this amazing experience to air travel again! WOW! She was amazing. Fly The Rocket!

@rashdin Because the SQ Concorde is not really owned by SQ. It is actually owned by BA(British Airways) but since British Airways is interested to serve Singapore with it and Singapore is no longer a land owned by Britain so Singapore Airlines and BA decided to join-venture the route and operate as a dual livery on each side.(BA and SQ)(Not full SQ colours)
