I find Eric and Dylan incredibly interesting because reading their journals I can (disturbingly) relate to them. I don't think that shooting up a high school was a good or heroic thing to do, but I understand their mindsets to a certain degree, and I can understand why they did what they did, even though I don't agree that it was in any way right.

I disagree. I think Harris was extremely intelligent. The fact that he was extremely mentally unstable would have had an affect on his accomplishments. If you look at mentally unstable people in general they usually get in their own objectives. They also almost killed the entire school. They strategically placed the bombs where the building almost collapsed on the school. It was only a minor mistake that caused the bomb not to go off. Both of those kids were monsters, but smart.
For being the one for not making these assholes seem like victims.

Did you by any chance read "Columbine" by Dave Cullen? It changed me entirely. It's horrific and haunted and well-researched and I really appreciate that you actually understand the true facts. I don't know where half the Columbine rumors came from besides the obvious fact that witnesses are not very good at giving facts as they are traumatized and so on, but what's weirder is that they just keep living on without anyone calling them out (the rumors). It's strange to me.
Admiring even the worst things in the universe should not be forbidden, there is no such thing as a thought crime. Threatening people, on the other hand, is basically announcing your violence against them and should be taken seriously in order to prevent the violence. I don't see anything heroic in what those assholes did, they basically blamed others for their own incompetence and executed them for it. Wow, such great heroes.

I disagree. I think Harris was extremely intelligent. The fact that he was extremely mentally unstable would have had an affect on his accomplishments. If you look at mentally unstable people in general they usually get in their own objectives. They also almost killed the entire school. They strategically placed the bombs where the building almost collapsed on the school. It was only a minor mistake that caused the bomb not to go off. Both of those kids were monsters, but smart.

Did you by any chance read "Columbine" by Dave Cullen? It changed me entirely. It's horrific and haunted and well-researched and I really appreciate that you actually understand the true facts. I don't know where half the Columbine rumors came from besides the obvious fact that witnesses are not very good at giving facts as they are traumatized and so on, but what's weirder is that they just keep living on without anyone calling them out (the rumors). It's strange to me.

While i hated and always hated those columbine worshipers i do agree with social darwinism playing a role in columbine to a degree. Both eric and dylan pretty much hated society as a whole because they knew they were bottom of the pecking order and both wrote about it tho eric was very hypocrytical. Dylan hated society because he thought he was excluded from it and got depressed while Eric wrote about being left out of social life to some degree but came up with an idea how the world should be.
