  • Did Egon say he supports the Toronto Blue Jays?!

  • I favorite episode was the one called "Ragnarok and Roll". Best episode of the series. That episode pays homage to the THE GHOSTBUSTERS I&II movies about the end of the world. Brilliant.

  • ahhh the good old dyas

  • 2nd fav. episode of the series. Great episode.

  • @CodeOfHonor2009 I love this episode, too. Whats your favorite episode? What caould top this?

I mainly love here how there is no way Winston can do it; the seeming impossibility of the odds - and then, miraculously, the theme music comes on and - ja, bless - he does it.

The theme music comes on at just the right time.

  • Why was Ray doing the all hail hitler sign at 7:10

  • I feel like I'm 8 years old again.

  • You're never going to find a plot like this every again, in anything~ what a well written episode.

  • "From now on, I only go to Mets games!"

  • Looks like the Indian spirits were dragged from the Cantina on Mos Eisley.

  • 4:25 to 5:00 they just don't make epic moments like that in cartoons nowadays.

  • RIP LORENZO MUSIC "Garfield/Tummy Gummy" :(::::::::

  • 4:33 - How come the ball turns into a pringle?

  • I normally don't use this meme but....

Evil's best pitcher dislikes this video.

  • Does anyone think the guy at 0:49 was the guy who wound up being taken by the evil spirits in the last battle of good and evil? That guy sure doesn't look like any of the other evil spirits.

  • y peter's soul???:/ I dont understand

  • correction, the bad team's logo is the pentagram! satan's star, the downward pointed star!! completely evil!! and the red scorpion. scorpion meaning death, destructive forces, disaster, darkness alot of words staring wit the letter D i guess like devil lol also means evil, torment, treachery and Judas Iscariot. you can guess what red means! tootles!

  • Such a brilliant ending, its not about winning, its about staying good. Such a great episode!!

  • the 80s were great even though i watch it in the 90s as a kid

  • @6:52- The Toronto Blue Jays are the team to watch!

  • I think the umpire might be God. It would explain why they never showed his face...

  • @corjonbett He could also be satan. Red skin, red glowing eyes, speaking in half truths, tempting the ghost busters with a choice that would essentially put them on evil's side. Also something about the symbolism of the final scene in which he appears, backed by that part of the stadium that looks like a dead angel spreading it's wings. Just my two cents.

  • @Princeofredsands then again it all comes down to personal interpretation, either could be right or neither.

  • You mean if I cheated, then I-?!

  • anyone realize that when Egon said "Toronto Blue Jays" that he was refering to the fact that the voice actor, Maurice LaMarche, is from Toronto?

  • wait if no one is nutral than who was the empire Good or Evil

  • @trickymander I think that the Umpire character was supposed to act more as an observer. Or perhaps as a Judge.

  • I beleive the umpire was a god motif as well. Not just because he let evil run its course while good beat it with faith. He showed real consern for the fate of one soul (Peter)

  • Baseball + Ghosts = AWESOMNES!!

  • Thanks SO much for uploading! I haven't seen this for over 20 years! I had it on tape when I was a kid and watched it over and over!

It would be interesting to learn what studio this was produced by. It definitely looks Japanese. In fact... has anyone ever heard of "Peter Pan no Bōken"? There are some drawings in this that really remind me of that series. Off to explore the facts!

  • music at 4.21 I LOVE IT

  • LMAO mets games. as egon argues for the bluejays

  • oh my... this episode had a much deeper meaning then just a game of baseball...think about it

  • This episode pissed me off. I wish our society would stop ramming the unfortunately untrue cheaters-never-win, winners-never-cheat message down children's throats. It does badly to prepare them for the real world. If I had written the episode, the other Busters would argue that if evil is allowed to cheat because that's what makes it evil, then logically good should be allowed to help others in need because that's what makes it good, and then they'd join Winston in playing the game.

  • @Fawful5 I guess you're a cheater then.

  • @Fawful5 cheater.

  • The best pitcher got owned by the best hitter

  • Best......episode...........EVAR!

  • Jesus Christ, I still can't get over the fact that Winston El Kabonged the hell outta the ball!!!

  • OMG!!! at 6:51 Egon says the Toronto Blue Jays! A Canadian team! That's so cool!

  • Furthermore, within the next few years, the Toronto Blue Jays won back-to-back World Series titles!

  • staring 2:36 one of the monts cool moments of my childhood

  • anyone else notice that the evil guys symbol looks like the Yankees. Just saying...

  • LOLOL talk about goin too far with one's opinion XD

  • Those where the days

  • winston was voiced by arsenio hall hahaha

  • Good always win, whul bad always loses,

    but exet Hitlert

  • This is the silliest one yet :)

  • Oh. my. god! Winston hits a home run at 500mph, sends the pitcher flying AND takes out the scoreboard as well!

    Go, Go, Winston! :D

  • At 2:24 what is that thing!? He's an ugly git whatever he she or it is.

  • i TOTALLY agree....ROFLMAO!!!

  • LOL @ 4:41 - that ghost is toast!!

That was one hell of a hit by Winston :)

  • Good vs Evil interdimensional Ghost baseball in a New York Minor league stadium..........THIS is why the 80s were so great!

  • Evil couldn't stand Venkman's soul for very long even if they won it.

  • Oh hell yeah XD! I would have loved to see that personally

  • the cartoons of the past held some valuable lessons in them

  • This episode was so cool you could base an entire series on it!

  • 6:17 Nice to be back home.

  • 2:23 What in God's name is that?

  • That's what I would like to know. It looks like a cross between a cyclops and an elaphent

  • The designers were clever when they figured out that adding an elephant trunk to their designs made them scarier.

  • Who are the Mets?

  • You know something big's gonna when the Ghostbusters kicks in. :-)

  • I thought that tentacle head thing that scored got called out when he batted....

  • True, he did get an out. However, because Winston missed all the other balls, I think the umpire compromised by letting it stay on the base and counting the ball Winston caught as one out.

  • Awesome episode.

  • WOW!!! WHAT A HOMERUN!!!

  • Egon wishes he could have studied the Umpire a little more closely..gotten a few more readings.

I think it's supposed to be Marduk from "I Am The City"because of the red skin and towering height, however you can see only two glowing eyes instead of four. But he does dematerialize the same way Marduk changed form.

  • I wonder if Winston was on the juice. He killed that thing!

    HA HA!

  • the best episode IMO but at 4:46 when the other 3 ghostbusters have there mouths open!,do you think somebody forgot to colour them in or do they just have huge teeth

  • egon wished he could have got more of a reading on the umpire! does anyone have a clue on what or who the mysterious umpire could be? it sounds like an inference to god. he let evil run its course, and through faith, good eventually won by playing all of the rules accordingly. he allowed the others, unknowingly, to choose peters fate by giving them the same set of rules. i am reminded of the futurama quote from god: when you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

  • agreed!! actually i used this episode as example of righteus and how hard it`s to be good

  • lol i was wondering that my self xd

  • I would have loved to see Chris Berman call this game.

  • When Winston whacks it and da music comes on it sends chills down my spine, one of my favourite eps along with grundel, boogieman, casey jones and lupusville.

  • 20 years later. I am in the same boat with you.

  • definitely true!

  • One thing I never got: if no one's neutral, how could there be an umpire?

  • He was not neutral. He was good. Good would allow fair play and fair calls. Even if it meant losing to evil. He would not be good if he favored the good team.

  • the Umpire was good aligned, therefore he was obligated to call a straight fair game but also realise that evil had no rules

  • Poor Pete you have to wonder who put his soul on the line in the first place?

  • no it was you'r soul we were playing for peter LOL.

  • The best part is from 04.15 - 05.30

  • definitely :)

  • Any chance you might be able to upload the "Take Two" episode RGB? Its not on here.

  • I might if & when I (soon) get a DVD recorder & copy my video copy of it onto DVD.

PS: It's the uncut version! ^_~

  • Awesome! Ive only been able to find a low quality cut version online. :( I used to watch this every saturday when I was a kid when it first aired. I still have tons of old Ghostbusters toys back at my parents place from when I was a kid. lol I have just recently started watching all the eps. in order online.

  • I collect the toys. I love them! They're so cool & so funny!

  • lol Just this weekend found my stuffed Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. If you do not have him I will send him to you.

  • I figure he is in better hands with you. lol Was my favorite stuffed thing as a kid.

  • You know how every kid has this one stuffed animal he used to get past nightmares in the 80's. lol Well mine was the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Again Id rather you had him if you wanted him. Better you take care of him he is a little worn out from the 80's. Just messege me ur addy Ill send him to you. :)

  • Man I love these Ghostbusters cartoons. Nostalgia overload! This show is just as good now, if not better then when I remember watching it as a little kid when it originally aired. Thanks RBG!

  • Dig Peter's expression at 5:39. That is sooo anime.

These episodes were split up between tons of different crews, mostly Japanese, but some look more "anime" than others. This is one of the them, and expressions like Peter's there are only the most obvious aspects of that.

  • Cool animation on the melting part.

  • That guy hits a home run at 5000mph, blasts away the umpire AND takes out the scoreboard!

    GO GO WINSTON!!!! :D

  • Sorry - the pitcher, not the umpire!

  • Egon is a Jays fan haha

  • @bulldog666999 Which means Egon is not a true New Yorker. Funnier Peter is the only mets fan! The Rest are probably Yankees fans expect Egon Blue Jays!

  • @hsuehhs I think it's supposed to be an inside joke, considering that Maurice LaMarche (Egon's voice actor) is Canadian.

  • you can´t beat evil with evil! great episode!!!!

  • Thanks for another great episode RGBcrazy! Btw I love your sense of humour! xD

  • i wonder why it was peters soul they were playing for tho? :S

  • Probably because he's such a jerk! Even if he is a loveable one! LOL!

  • Love the ending on this episode, Peter realises that Winston was playing for Peter's soul all along and if Peter, Ray & Egon had cheated then Peter would've lost his soul. "From now on, I only go to Metts games."

  • trippy stuff in this episode!
