  • Nice one Trevor,

    Mason

  • k3la or possibly a k5la

  • K3LA. Trust me. If you run one of these for a living, you get familiar with that thing on top making all the noise.

  • i think they are train horns...just kidding. you are way more of a railfan than me. i don't even know the different horn types. great audio, though.

  • The first Dash 8 sounds like 503, the second 507; the Dash 9 you're looking to identify sounds like something I remember from a war bonnet Santa Fe engine...I believe the name was a Leslie.

  • Second one sounds like a K3A, most likely BNSF dash 9. The K5LLA sounds like the type used in the BNSF SD70ACe's. Nice K5LA's too!

BTW, I don't know if you have said this before or not, but what school do you go to?

  • awesome

  • Awesome Horn action Trevor!!

  • That has to be a K3LA right there for the second one, love the BNSF K5LLA :)Always has that great echo! Great job

  • i think the second P32 is 507? haha great vid.

  • Can't get the unit #'s, but I'll guess K5LA and K3LA :)

  • Nice Horn action Trevor.

  • SWEET!! 5* great job Trevor!

  • Thanks :D I'm actually going down to Wharf St. tonight hopefully to catch an Amtrak on BNSF train at that crossing there. Should be a good video, even at night. We'll see.

  • Awesome horn action. Definitely a fave! 5/5*
